Summary
“Don’t move too fast.” Robin spoke softly as he helped Stray up on his feet and the cat turned to face Robin and leaned back against the rail. “We got hit with magic, it’s nasty stuff but the after effects will wear off in a bit.”
“Ha ha.” Stray said sarcastically. “Magic’s not really real.” He laughed but Robin didn’t and Stray stared at him. “It’s not….it is? Magic is real? Is Santa real?”
“I don’t about that but magic is totally a thing and it’s annoying as hell.” Robin said and tried to tap in on his comms to contact Batman and see what might be going on. “I can’t reach B…he has to be with the magic user, I think we got ported but the range on these comms are supposed to be epic, where did we end up?” He pondered.
-----------Robin hated magic, he really did. It always left a bad taste in his mouth and flipped his stomach, but dealing with magic came with the gig sometimes. What didn't usually come with the gig was getting blasted to another world with you cat burglar boyfriend to find different versions of themselves that had taken such drastically different paths and were for some reason were older than them.

Summary
“You should be grateful.” Willis spat. “There are far worse things, worse people I could have sold you off to, you’ve finally become worth something to this family.” Jason was definitely going to punch him. “With the money they’re giving us for this arrangement your mother can finally get the care she needs.”
Jason’s hands uncurled and the tension eased out of his posture, that was the only reason he was going along with this whole thing. He hadn’t had the choice in the first place but that didn’t mean he couldn’t have just disappeared altogether. He was doing this for his mother, he loved his mother. She had been sick for a long time now and was starting to get worse, she needed better treatment that they couldn’t afford and for her, he’d throw away his life.
“Don’t look so depressed, Jason, you’re going to have a better than life than if you stuck around here.” Willis sneered and narrowed his eyes when Jason glared at him. “Just remember, if you mess this up you will be killing your mother. So just this once, don’t fuck it up Jason.” He said before leaving his son alone with his thoughts.

Summary
Jason wasn’t certain it went from the other stolen moments and secreted away times they had fooled around during patrols or sneaking away during the parties they were dragged to and turning it into this new ritual in the middle of the night. It didn’t really concern Jason because after Tim had asked to do it and they tried it, it quickly became something that Jason liked very much.

Summary
Tim was a little nervous.
Okay, he was a lot nervous, but don’t tell Selina that.
This was going to be his first night out on his own, flying solo, on his very own heist! He’d been working and training with her for months now after the months he had begged her to take him on as her partners and it was time to really prove himself. It was do or die time!
Maybe not that dramatic and he certainly would rather not die over stealing a couple handfuls of jewels, but he was putting a lot on the line for this job. He knew Selina liked having him around, she told him as much, but he still felt like he had a lot to prove. That he needed to show her that it wasn’t a mistake taking him on and that he could be useful to her.

If Stray could just pull this off without...and Robin is here, great, just what he didn't need, were things not falling apart enough without him?Stray gets caught, Stray gets sad and Robin, well, he's got a soft spot for cats it turns out and decided maybe this cat could use a break.
