It was not uncommon for Star to be hooked up to an IV for certain medications, but she was nonetheless still anxious about Jeff seeing her like that for the first time.
While most of the people were in the facility for physical ailments, his was more of a psychological thing, so he didn't exactly get it the way the others did. Of course, he'd never been unkind to her or any of the other residents over such ailments, but she still couldn't help but feel a bit insecure.
So, when he walked into her room and didn't even react to the IV she was hooked up to, she felt a huge wave of relief, as well as a small bit of guilt for ever doubting him.
Maybe he truly is the one.
