Work Text:
Lionel had always been chastised (mostly by his mother) for the odd motions he'd do with his hands and legs.
They helped him regulate the feelings in his body but, over time, he'd learned to hide them from others for fear of that ostracization, even though doing so made him feel like he was trapped in a tight and miserable cage.
But, with Paquita, he didn't feel the need to. No, he could fidget as much as he wanted around her and she never made any rude comments about it. If anything, she seemed to find it endearing.
This woman is amazing.
