"Miso?"
"Miso," Zoro nodded, "That's my favorite soup."
"It's simple enough to make," Sanji considered, rolling his cigarette across his lips, "Can be hard to make well."
"As you always tell me, I have simple tastes," Zoro chuckled as he leaned on his hand, watching Sanji putter around the kitchen, "And it tastes like home."
Sanji's face softened when he glanced, taking out the dashi and tofu as he started his prep.
"What about you?" Zoro asked, "Which soup is your favorite?"
Sanji hummed as he set the pot of water to boil and thought it over, "Depends on the weather. I like vichyssoise in the summer, chowders in the winter. A bouillabaisse is always good, when I have the right fish on hand."
"You and your fish," Zoro chuckled as Sanji started chopping, "Do we have the right fish for a bouillabaisse?"
Sanji hummed, pulling away from the vegetables to take a drag from his cigarette as he thought it over, "I believe so. You want that too?"
"If you like it, I'd like to try it," Zoro grinned, "See what all the fuss is about."
"Alright," Sanji chuckled, putting his cigarette out in the ashtray as he returned to chopping, "It's cold enough for two soups today. Miso for lunch and bouillabaisse for dinner. Sound good?"
Zoro smiled as he sat back, content to watch Sanji work, "It sounds perfect."
