“I don’t like him,” Shinsou declared.
“I think he’s funny!” Mei said. “He has those angry rahhh eyebrows.”
“I don’t like him,” Shinsou repeated.
“Hold on, let me get this straight,” Melissa said. “Izuku has fallen in love with a giant asshole with angry rahhh eyebrows?”
Izuku hated that this conversation was even happening. “I have not,” he said through gritted teeth, “fallen in love.”
Shinsou gave him an unimpressed look.
“I have maybe developed a crush,” Izuku admitted.
OR: Izuku moved to I-Island when he was five. This changes a lot of things, but somehow, he and Katsuki still find each other.

Summary
Somewhere between hard training, apparently being courted by the whole body of U.A. students, and missing his boyfriend like mad, Bakugo Katsuki is struggling to convince his friends that yes, he is in an actual relationship, even if he can't tell them with who.
It doesn't go at all like he expected. No surprise there.
Also dubbed as 7 times when Katsuki's mysterious boyfriend is brought up in conversation, and that 1 time Izuku is actually there.

Summary
That's when Bakugou sees it—a huge shape ballooning out of the grit in the air, growing larger by the second. It reminds him of Mt. Lady's quirk, only it's a lot less feminine and a whole lot furrier. It's some kind of monster, and as he watches, it lets out an ear-piercing screech that makes him and Zen cringe in pain. And now that he's in the air, he starts to be able to make out what it is.
"Dad!" Zen gasps, and Katsuki knows they've figured it out at the same time. "Is that Killer?"
Unfortunately, Katsuki can see that it is undeniably Killer. That's his hamster, dammit; he'd know it anywhere. What the hell happened?!

The flashing colors on television had always caught Izuku’s eye. All Might’s death was only known to a few people. These two things, somehow, were related. A quick snap of a picture and the seething silence that even crows would start to caw in. The flashing lightning that was now permanently scribbled around him was what caught the television’s eye. The power, the glory—the nameless face of a vigilante gone wild.
You’ll get caught, Some of them said to him, quietly, like a swishing mantra. You’ll get caught, Ninth.
Sometimes he hoped he did.
(or: after one for all is desperately passed on in all might’s last moments, a boy becomes a vigilante, struggling to find reality amongst the new ghosts in his head.)

Summary
Faint crackling electricity, like the fabric of a windbreaker rubbing against itself, covering the sound of shifting rubble and settling dust. It’s a sound Katsuki’s heard a thousand times before, usually preceded with a shout from Deku saying One For All-
“Full Cowling,” Katsuki whispers, staring and grasping for words. “What the fuck.”
Deku is standing near Katsuki’s feet, back bowed forward like Atlas and body lit up with a green so bright it’s incandescent. Blackwhip escapes from his arms in countless tendrils, lightning arcs off his body every second, and there’s a faint tremble running through his legs.
He’s terrifying. He’s beautiful.
He’s holding the fucking building on his shoulders.

"Izuku sat at his desk contemplating what he did wrong. His classmates, his friends had been avoiding him all morning. 'Hello's were mumbled and followed by a quick getaway. Questions were answered with mumbles and then he was ignored afterwards.
Upon walking into class, no one crowded his desk to talk before class began. No one besides Shinsou even looked at him really. It was driving him crazy. He didn't know what he did to make them start hating him but he'd fix it. Maybe it was the mumbling, they finally got fed up. Maybe they thought he was too plain. Whatever the issue was, he swore he would change.
