    I am having so much fun with Veers! I tried really hard to come up with unique but viable religious traditions for this fic, rather than just have bunch of re-skinned greek/norse pantheons and one or two abrahamic analogues, and I'm quite happy with the way Denon turned out. The sentient eldritch Houses in your Magic in Space series were partially an inspiration here, in fact, while the 'fate' aspect of re-enacting myths comes from a videogame called Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
