Oh my gosh, this fic is so delicate and beautiful. I'm all teary-eyed at the end here (mostly about vmin, honestly, that reunion was SO much, but also just about all of it). I absolutely love that the thesis of this piece is that you have to make hard choices about how to live your life and you are allowed to choose the things that will mke you happy even if that won't last forever. It's so real! For a fic told from the POV of a vampire it is remarkably and inherently human in so many ways. Gosh I'm just! In awe over here! The tone of it and Taehyung's POV in general are really tender and bruised and the decision to have him be so newly turned and still adjusting paid such dividends here. Really every choice you made had a fabulous impact on the story in general.
I also love that Taehyung had people giving him conflicting advice, and that he actually really needed to hear that he was allowed to still have people because that ws something he needed that Namjoon and Yoongi maybe didn't as much, especially because they had this shared trauma they were processing together. It was a clever choice and made this so layered.
Agh! Just everything about this. Honestly it's one of my favorite things I've read recently and I can't wait to now yell about it at everyone I know. Thank you for writing this & sharing it <3
