Comment on John Egbert and the Fall of Man

  1. Oh wow, thank you so much! And no, I don't have anything original yet... I find it hard to drum up motivation when I'm not doing regular public updates.

8 chapters would be appropriate, wouldn't it? I don't really have it planned chapter-by-chapter, just more of an established sequence of events, so it could still happen!

    1. Well, I can't wait for more.

As for motivation - would joining a site like Scribophile(which I've already reccomended to several people here and will continue to do so because it is awesome.) help? It's kind of a writers workshop site with a karma based system - you critique other works --> you can post your own work --> it gets critiqued by others. I guess if you make sort of your own update calendar for it it could work. I have a great time each time I'm on the site, even if I'm not that active currently.

      1. Holy shit that sounds like exactly what I need. I am definitely going to look into that, thank you so much.

        1. Yeah, no problem. As I said, it's a great site and you'll usually get good critiques and there are a lot of great people there. The fanfiction scene is very small, though.

        2. So... how'd original fiction go?
