Your comments always make me so happy!!! You have no idea :))) Honestly long comments are such an honour to writers and you're amazing I love you. I also really like hearing about what people thought while reading through this fic because it's super fun to know that someone likes the same stuff you like :D
Han Sooyoung and Kim Dokja are totally vitriolic best buds that pretend they hate each other sometimes but they're both super supportive!! I'm happy you noticed how Yoo Jonghyuk was counting down quickly to shut her up hahahahaha And you're right, this whole experience--other than the 'getting dokhyuk to meet again' and 'getting kdj to get uriel to get funding'--was also Han Sooyoung's way of getting Kim Dokja to open up and move past his subconscious fear of being seen by others by introducing him to people she knows are harmless.
I'm also glad you thought the role of fitting--I thought it was a funny call-back to ORV :) (idk how far you are in the novel (?))
Kim Namwoon is my sleeper favourite male character other than dokhyuk :D which is why he gets so much screentime even though he literally has zero relevance to the love polygons going on. And you're right, I like the feeling of 'found family' a loooot more than breaking hearts, so while I tagged 'Drama' honestly there isn't that much drama LOL--all the drama is in dokhyuk's pasts and not the present
You're 1000% right! Yoo Jonghyuk was not completely convinced he wasn't hallucinating at first, or that this wasn't some sick joke Han Sooyoung was playing on him. A lot of the first few chapters are him trying to confirm that Kim Dokja is the real deal, and gets official confirmation from Han Sooyoung until chapter 10. And yeah he thought at first that Kim Dokja was pretending not to recognize him as a form of punishment/gaslighting--and afterwards he realized Kim Dokja isn't that kind of person, but still wasn't sure how to approach the subject.
I'm very, very glad that the fic is rereadable lololol and that jokes still hold up past the initial read <3 <3 <3 Thank you so much for commenting!
