I'm usually pretty cautious when reading Rape/non-Con stories because it's a very sensitive topic and a lot of stories I've read so far put all their emphasis on the sex scene and leave out everything else.
This is exactly why I appreciate all the thought and care that went into this one. I've (luckily) never been in a situation like this, but the way you wrote Louie's behavior made it feel really real and had me at the edge of my seat. I'm excited but also scared of what will happen next. No rush though, take your time, especially after just dropping such a long chapter :)
I've noticed that same trend, and I hate it. This kind of topic needs to be seen and understood, not summarized or rushed. I made a promise to myself when I started writing this that I would respect the experiences and feelings of Louie, and by extention anyone else who has been through something like this, because I know how much it hurts for the complicated things that go on in between the actual rape to be belittled and ignored. I'm hoping to put a stop to it, or at least give anyone else who needs it a break from that insensitivity.
Tbh I'm excited and scared about what happens next too! Most of this has just been writing as ideas come to me, so even I'm not entirely sure how things are gonna play out lol
Unfortunately not. I know where I want to go with the story, at least vaguely, it just comes down to actually writing it out. I've been fandom hopping like there's no tomorrow too, so a good portion of my usual motivation is seriously lacking in the interest department. I stg, this story will not end here, no discontinuing or anything like that, just this impromptu hiatus that idk when will end :')
