Where in the world would Harry get the idea that Voldemort has any honor? You brought up the Snape request, but Lily still died. And she didn't die because she wouldn't step aside (He could have stunned her); she died because he said it seemed fitting to kill all of them. And there is no indication of Voldemort ever keeping his word to anyone if it didn't benefit him. He is a monster. Plain and simple. Ron and Hermione aren't being rude or disrespectful telling him that this is a terrible plan and that Voldemort can't be trusted; Harry's just being stupid and is trying to find some way to end the violence.
Having said that, what I'm loving is how clear it is that Harry's not thinking clearly. At this point, it's fairly clear that Harry's pretty suicidal, and he's just making up reasons why he needs to go die. I like how he seems to know that Voldemort won't keep his word (he wouldn't have had that 'no shit, Sherlock' comment if he didn't know that this was a bad idea), but that he feels like he needs to do it no matter what on the off chance that Voldemort will abide by it. It's a great setup where we the audience know that Harry is wrong, Harry's friends know that Harry's wrong, Harry knows that Harry's wrong, but Harry is not willing to accept that he can't stop the violence just by dying, so he goes anyway.
