Really great story! I love how you short-circuited the Year. While "the five months that never were" doesn't quite have the same ring to it, I still love that Ianto saved Jack from more unnecessary torture. Ooh, and I'm wondering if some of Ianto's stronger and unsettled energy will be directed John Hart's way.
Jack being the Face of Boe always made me incredibly sad - I usually subvert it, as a result. I am wondering if you have similar plans?
