Notes:

I'm writing this because I'm very bored and I've run out of MHA x Assassination Classroom fics and you can only reread so many times. There is no update schedule, no plan, and I might abandon this if it doesn't spark joy so approach at your own risk. This brain baby was born because I was reading MHA villain class fics at the same time as Ass Class fics and they merged in my brain. I planning a much bigger and more thought out fic with a similar premise but that's still a long while out and I felt like writing now. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Don't judged a book by how you remember it from a year ago

Chapter Text

Midoriya and the rest of class 1A had started their time at UA with an unusual first year considering the moon exploded and they were hounded by the league of villains at every step. It seems their second year was shaping up to be more of the same, complete and utter chaos.

The first day of the school year started not with another Quirk assessment but an announcement from Mr. Aizawa and a similar looking but much better groomed man.

“After the dumpster fire of your first year,” harsh but true, “I’d hoped for a normal year but of course you problem children attract trouble just by breathing.” Midoriya had a distinct feeling that was directed towards him. “This is agent Karasuma from the Ministry of Defense and he will be here to help with your wrangling of Kunugigaoka’s infamous class 3E as decided by the government.”

This declaration was met with a variety of mumbles, groans, whispers, and the very distinct beginning of an Iida lecture™.

Mr. Aizawa quieted the class with a flash of his quirk. “Be quiet and listen to Karasuma, this’ll only be explained once,” he said before zipping up his sleeping bag and promptly flopping onto the floor.”

“As Aizawa introduced I’m Tadaomi Karasuma, the handler for the assassination classroom. I’m their legal guardian along with Irina Jelavić who’s currently supervising the class. You’ve each been assigned one or two members of the class to supervise throughout the year decided by me and your teachers based on personality, skill, and quirks. You will be with them from the moment they leave their dorms till they’re returned, excluding private business. They’re now your responsibility and youre expected to keep them out of trouble. You’ll each be given a keycard that allows you to take your students anywhere on campus that coresponds with their ankle monitor. You’ve each been given a file on your charges’ quirks, skills, habits, specific needs, and any other relevant information, these are to be memorised as soon as possible.”

Midoriya knew a consensus had been reached on how to deal with the class but he’d never expected this.. Everyone who wasn’t living under a rock knew about Kunugigaoka’s murderous third year class that’d been trained as assassins by the villain who’d blown up the moon. One faction believed they should all be sent to Tartarus and left to rot while the other believed they needed therapy and rehabilitation, it was now evident which had won. Midoriya thought the whole thing was quite blown out of proportion. He’d gone to Kunugigaoka and had been in the previous class 3E for his quirklessness, been a senpai to the children being hailed as murderers. Sure some of them were rowdy but most had given up on themselves after the school had. You don’t walk off the 3E treatment, he was still surprised at being treated as an equal by his classmates a year into a new school and newly acquired quirk. As soon as the so-called assassins shuffled into the classroom with their heads down and darting eyes the rest of the class would realise they were in for an easy year.

Midoriya flipped open his file and had to stifle a giggle, he’d been assigned Shiota Nagisa, the quietest and most unassuming member of 3E according to his memory. With the talk of matched quirks and skills Midoriya was incredibly confused, he'd expected Karma or Terasaka but apparently his teachers thought he’d earned a break.

“Irina,” Mr. Karasuma called out, “bring in the children.”

Instead of the march akin to a funeral procession Midoriya had expected one Karma Akabane kicked open the door and swaggered in followed by the rest of class 3E chatting and giggling amongst themselves.

“Wow look at this bunch of stiffs,” Karma exclaimed to the clear amusement of his peers.

“I told them to make a good first impression,” Miss Jelavić huffed, “I don’t know why I expected them to listen.”

“Like the great first impression you left on us, Miss Bitch?” Nakamura quipped.

While Iida looked apoplectic at the blatant disrespect to an authority figure, Miss Jelavić looked resigned, and 3E looked absolutely gleeful.

It seems Midoriya had completely misjudged the situation.

Chapter 2: Are you really getting kicked out of your house if you wanted to leave anyways?

Summary:

Class 3E goes to jails but at least the cells are bougie.

Notes:

This was supposed to be a small chapter similar in size to the first not nearly double the size. I have no clue how this happened since the only thing I had planned before starting was the end scene. Also thank you for the kind comments I'm excited to see where this goes.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

When Nagisa woke up after the worst night of his life he hadn’t expected to get arrested. After dealing the final blow to their beloved Korosensei class 3E and their remaining teachers returned to their classroom and fell asleep reading their guidebooks. They awoke to military men kicking down the door and demanding they put their hands up. They found out later on that Mr. Karasuma had delayed them as long as he could but hadn’t been able to prevent the arrests and what was to come next.

“What do you mean we can’t go to our highschools anymore?” Nakmura shouted.

“I worked my ass off to get in and now you're telling me all of that was useless,” added Terasaka.

“Unfortunately the media found out you were Korosensei’s students not victims,” Mr. Karasuma told the class, “and the government has decided to feign innocence and pretend they had no knowledge of the assassination classroom. In exchange for our silence on the issue they’ve made me and Irina your legal guardians.”

Well he’s already the class dad, Nagisa thought.

“What about our parents,” Isogai asked, “Surely they’re worried about us.”

“Each of your parents relinquished custody to the government after they learned what happened although some opted for visitation.”

This earned a mixed reply of sobs, angry exclamations, a few numb acknowledgements, and some very loud finally’s, Nagisa of course in the last group. He’d been waiting for the witch to give up custody already and let him live with his dad but this worked too, Mr. Karasuma acted more like a dad anyways.

“What are they gonna do with us if we can’t go to school,” asked Kataoka, “They can’t just leave us locked up forever.”

“I’m not old enough to go to jail,” whined Okajima, “I have such a bright future.”

“Yeah sure,” snarked Hazama, “just like my blossoming modelling career.”

“You’ll all be going to UA,” damn, the governments using the good bribe money,” and you’ll be learning alongside the current class 2A. They’ll be acting as your mentors and guide you towards a normal life.”

“I believe the word you were looking for is jailers,” Karma interjected, “and I like my insane life just fine thank you very much.”

“What happens afterwards?” Takebayashi asked, “I don’t know about everyone else but I had plans for the future.”

“What he said,” added Kurahashi, “Korosensei encouraged all of us to follow our passions and now we're being told to give up again?”

“The government has decided that after a year with class 2A if you can be called stable you’ll be allowed to continue on with your regular lives. And before I’m interrupted again,” whoops, “while at UA you’ll be given the materials you would’ve studied in the first year of your desired courses.”

“Whelp I guess Karma’s never gonna be a politician,” remarked Terasaka, “he wasn’t stable even before 3E.”

This was met with the raucous laughter and a small smirk from Karasuma.

“Tomorrow we’ll be driving around to collect any personal items from your homes before moving into the dorms. You’ll also each be given 250,000 yen for any clothes, decorations, or other necessities to be bought online.”

“Mr. Karasuma that way mo-” Kanzaki started before noticing Mr. Karasuma’s completely subtle wink and continuing, “way too little, we definitely need more than that. Do you think you could maybe negotiate more for us? It's just that they’re tearing us from our homes and that’ll be so hard to adjust to.”

“Of course Kanzaki, I’ll see what I can do.”
----------
Apparently most of the class didn’t have many personal items. Karasuma had gotten them a tour bus and a driver to take them to everyone’s homes to collect their things but most left with a bag or two upon the promise of a fully furnished dorm room and the money to buy anything else they needed. At his own apartment Nagisa found a trash bag with his name on it outside the front door and that said enough to him about how his mother felt about this situation. The two outliers were Karma, who waltzed out of his family mansion with a small but incredibly spicy smelling bag, and Hazama, who required at least half of the class and multiple trips to move her hoard of books.

As everyone settled into their rooms Nagisa lay on his bed and started thinking for the first time since he’d been arrested. He felt bad for some of his classmates losing a family they loved but all in all he thought he came out of the situation in the green. He didn’t have to live with his egg donor any longer, had stable housing for the year, got to live with his friends, and he was staying in one of the safest places on earth, so he might finally be able to sleep through the night. A lot of 3E had trouble sleeping at night due to their time together or something from before but at least the rooms here were soundproof. When they’d been staying in bunks on the military base everyone’s nightmares had resulted in zero full nights' rest for anyone.

He pulled out the laptop he’d been issued and headed downstairs to start on the ordering process. Everyone had been assigned a laptop and a phone with limited functions that Itona already had plans with Ritsu to update. The phones were there for communication purposes and the laptops had their course modules and shopping sites. Along with the electronics every room had came with a full sized bed, a desk and chair, a smaller table, shelves, and a dresser. The boys had a shared washroom and presumably so did the girls.

When he got to the living room he found Nakamura, Yada, Maehara, and Okano huddled in a circle with all of their laptops giggling maniacally.

“I just found a listing for a hundred tiny plastic butts,’ shouted Maehara, “beat that.”

“Already did,” said Nakamura, “feast your eyes upon the glory of Lord Wimplesnatch the 3rd, the longest furby ever made.”

“No fair where are you even shopping?”

“What are you guys doing?” asked Nagisa cautiously.

“We all have leftover money after ordering everything we needed so we’ve decided to see who can find the weirdest thing to buy,” chirped Okano.

“Okay I guess,” said Nagisa, “who's winning now?”

“I am,” said Hayami, “I just commissioned a statue of Mr. Karasuma in Tiger from the Wild,Wild Pussycats outfit.”

Well that’s an image I didn’t ever want to imagine, thought Nagisa.

“Bow down before the queen of chaos,” praised Maehara.

“Isn’t that breaking the rules,” said Yada, “we were trying to find the weirdest thing not make it.”

“Objection overruled,” said Nakamura, “due to Hayami seeing the vision and achieving it tenfold.”

Suddenly living with his classmates was no longer a positive. It seems chaos shall be ruling the dorm.
----------
It was the first day of class and Nagisa thought the class should be a bit more nervous, just as a courtesy. This poor class was going to have to deal with them the whole year. They could at least start by pretending they were nice and well behaved children before they were exposed to 3E in its natural state, the state of chaos. Plus Miss Bitch had told to “behave you little shits.”

“Alright everyone start placing your bets,” said Fuwa, “Takebayashi will be keeping track so no skimping out on your dues.”

“Come on guys,” said Isogai, “we don’t want to scare them off already.”

“Chill class pres,” said Nakamura, throwing an arm over his shoulder, “if we're doing this all year they're going to have to get used to us eventually. Also I’m placing fifty bucks on Nagisa making someone cry today.” Rude.

“Come on,” protested Terasaka, “there’s no way in hell the shrimps gonna make someone cry.” Double Rude.

“Yeah man, that’s the day pigs fly,” Yoshida added.

“Then you aren’t afraid to bet on it,” goaded Nakamura.

By the time Karasuma called them in and they’d walked into the classroom she’d looped half the class into the bet and Karma was being, unfortunately, himself.

This was going to be the start of a very interesting school year.

Notes:

I may or may not come back and switch Nakamura's prediction if I come up with something better but I'll add it in the notes if I do.

Chapter 3: Buddy system engaged

Summary:

Everyone gets assigned their new source of trauma and Nakamura is prophetic.

Notes:

I was listening to ABBA while writing this chapter and it's a certifiable bop (not a new discovery just the statement of a fact). Full list of assignments in the notes at the bottom cause I didn't feel like writing all of that out in a stimulating way. Also I'll be going camping soon for a couple of days and I have no clue if I'll have signal or the time to write so updates will be slowing down for the next little bit.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

“Alright that’s enough,” Mr. Karasuma said, “cut it with the shenanigans. I’ll call out the name of a 2A student who will stand then their 3E member who will walk over and join them at their desk.”

That would explain the extra large desks and extra chairs this year, thought Midoriya

“Yuga Aoyama.”

“That would be moi,” he said standing up.

“You will be paired with Yuzuki Fuwa.”

“It’s nice to meet you mon ami,”said Aoyama.

“Likewise,” Fuwa responded.

The rest of the interactions were largely the same except Tokoyami saying something about revelry in the dark upon meeting Hazama. When Shouto was assigned Karma, Midoriya did a quick prayer for him, no one deserved such a fate so young. After Hagakure and Bakugou it was finally his turn.

“Izuku Midoriya, you will be paired with Shiota Nagisa.”

Izuku looked through the small group left at the front to find him.

“Hi Midoriya senpai,” said Nagisa from right behind him.

Midoriya promptly fell out of his chair. “Motherfu-when did you get there?”

“He does that,” said Sugaya, “you’ll get used to it eventually.” Okay then, that's new he thought while climbing back into his chair to the laughter of his classmates. Although he was sure that none of them had noticed Nagisa before he spoke.

“Well it’s nice to see you again when you aren’t trying to give me a heart attack,” Midoriya sighed.

“Sorry,” said Nagisa sheepishly before sitting down beside him.

“How do you know him anyway?” asked Mina.

“Oh we all went to the same middle school,” Midoriya said, “the only ones I didn’t know were Kayano and Horibe, who I assume transferred after I graduated.”

“I prefer Itona,” he said, “and yes we both transferred last year.”

Afterwards Shinsou was assigned Terasaka, poor guy, and Yaoyorozu was left with Kataoka and Nakamura, which would certainly be interesting.

“Now that you’re in your groups,” Aizawa started, “Myself, Karasuma, and Irina will be handing out keycards and ankle monitors.”

At the front of the room Chiba started signing something but all Midoriya managed to catch was ‘sliding’ before Karasuma signed back ‘no worry I’ll explain later.’ Odd.

“What was that?” asked Hagakure.

“Chiba just had a question about how the keycards work and he’s selectively mute,” Mr. Karasuma explained, “that’s why he’s paired with Kouda.” That definitely wasn’t a question about keycards but Midoriya knew that Mr. Aizawa understood JSL just fine and if he wasn’t saying anything then it was probably okay.

Mr. Aizawa then went around handing out their keycards while Mr. Karasuma and Miss Jelavic attached ankle monitors to each of the 3E students. Midoriya thought it was a bit weird how they weren’t already on but presumably the adults knew best how to deal with 3E.

“Now that everythings been set up,” Aizawa said, “we’ll be continuing on like a normal day while the 3E students do their course modules on their laptops while Karasuma, Irina and I supervise.”

All of 3E began pulling out laptops while 2A pulled out notebooks and calculators to prepare for Ectoplasm’s lesson. After he walked in the lesson went as per usual for a solid five minutes before Isogai raised his hand.

“Yes Isogai,” said Mr. Karasuma.

“Um, Mr Karasuma,” Isogai said hesitantly, “I think this might be the wrong work. It’s just way too easy, I went through the whole math course and it’s all things we learned last year.”

“Yeah Mr. K,” added Kurahashi, “I still haven’t come across something I don’t know and I’m almost halfway through.”

“Come on guys, why did you have to snitch,” groaned Terasaka, “I was planning on gliding through this year without our rivalry.”

“Yeah guys,” whined Karma, “you’ve ruined my naptime.”

“Well this is quite the predicament,” Nedzu said, popping out of a vent scaring the bejesus out of 2A but causing no reaction from 3E. “It seems 3E will just have to learn alongside you doing the second year work.”

“That will be suitable,” replied Karasuma, “I suspected something like this would happen but I wasn’t expecting it to go so far. Last year there was a bit of a rivalry between the class and their old principal and I knew they were working on things beyond their age group but I didn’t realise they’d functionally been taught an entire extra year.”

“Rivalries are super manly and all but how far did it go if you learned an entire extra year of school?” asked Kirishima.

“Well at one point the principal’s son and his lackeys tried to contractually make us their slaves but honestly they barely compare to my mom trying to burn down the classroom to make me live out her dreams,” Nagisa joked.

“Mood,” whispered Shouto.

“Nagisa what did I tell you about your sense of humour,” Miss Jelavić chided, “normal people don’t joke about those things.”

“Sorry Miss Bitch.”

Meanwhile most of 2A was gaping in horror, multiple people starting to sniffle and Ochako actually started to tear up. Midoriya had no clue how to react to this situation but apparently Nakamura did.

“Fucking bingo,” shouted Nakamura, “pay up losers those are tears.”

“No fucking way,” gasped Yoshida.

“How the hell did you know that was gonna happen,” demanded Muramatsu.

“Dude, Nagisa always casually trauma dumps on people, we're just all numb to his appalling childhood by now,” Nakamura explained smugly.

“Seriously,” said Karasuma incredulously, “this is what you were betting on earlier. Come on, you all know better than to bet against Nakamura on things like this. You all practically poured your money into her pockets.”

“I taught you brats better than to bet against the house,” said Miss Jelavić, “and Nakamura is the closest thing you’ll get to the house till you lot are old enough to gamble for real.”

“Aw thanks Miss Bitch,” said Nakamura.

Midoriya had a sneaking suspicion class was going to keep getting interrupted by traumatising new lore.

Chapter 4: Author’s Note

Chapter Text

So unfortunately I’ve been hit be the fanfic writer curse and life is going to shit. My city is on fire and my family is very close to being evacuated. I have no clue when I’ll be updating next and I’m wishing the best to everyone also experiencing a wildfire. I’ll be back eventually and I may start stress writing but for the moment I’ll be on hiatus. Edit: Not dead just depressed and busy, I have no plans on finishing this but i might write something with a similar concept in the future
