His lawyer had listened to his long list of mitigating circumstances (whining) and the full context of his actions (excuses) but had dismissed all of it in favour of arguing the merits of restorative measures and how promising a candidate Bradley made “for a therapeutic and community oriented approach to meaningfully demonstrate his remorse and changed behaviour”.
