As darkness creeps into the galaxy, the fifth Chosen One of the Jedi Order is born on Stewjon, a world well-known for their hatred of Force-sensitives. Secreted away to the temple at age three, Obi-Wan, learning the truth of his identity, finds a home among the Jedi and a best friend in psychometric prodigy Quinlan Vos. Struck by debilitating visions, Obi-Wan feels the clock ticking as he grows up. No Chosen One has lived past twenty. Bonding with members of Yoda's lineage from his first days in the temple, Obi-Wan meets Sheev Palpatine, the middle Padawan of Master Dooku.
