PSA! THIS IS NOT A FIC — IT’S A PLACE TO SHARE THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ON THE UPCOMING EPISODE/S.

Is Lisa Swain cheating on Carla by letting Becky Swain touch her face? Don’t say Lisa’s circumstances are different — yes, I know they are.

HONESTLY PEOPLE! THIS IS NOT CLICKBAIT! READ THE PSA ABOVE.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out — if this isn’t to your liking, don’t read, simple as that!

I’m getting heat from people I’ve never interacted with before, being called a moron, and others are demanding I delete this. LMAO!! I’ve emailed AO3 to check if these fandom discussions break any rules and I’m waiting for a response, so this might not stay up if they say remove it.

As far as I know, we’ve done nothing wrong — no abuse, no solicitations. The whole “issue” feels misplaced since I warned from the start that this ISN’T a fic. Nothing misleading in the summary.

I’m getting heat from people I’ve never even interacted with before on here in the comments section, and honestly, ((FYI IT DOESN"T BOTHER ME, I'VE BEEN CALLED WORSE THAN A MORON BEFORE)) I don’t understand what the problem seems to be. LMAO!! I’ve already been called a moron, and others are now ordering me to delete this. I’ve actually emailed AO3 to ask if we’re breaking any rules by having these fandom discussions here, and I’m just waiting for their response. So this might not stay up for long if they direct me to remove it. Sorry, guys especially to those who genuinely enjoy having real discussions. As far as I’m aware, we haven’t done anything wrong. No one’s being abusive, no solicitations, nothing like that. The whole “issue” of posting here feels so misplaced, especially since I gave a clear warning from the start that this ISN’T a fic hence NOT A CLICK BAIT. There’s nothing misleading about the summary before anyone even clicks on it.

PSA: This is a fandom discussion and speculation post about upcoming episodes... not a fic or personal blog entry.

In light of some of the negative comments I’ve come across on this thread, I just want to make this clear; this is a friendly warning. I really don’t want to block anyone, but we must keep things respectful. The actors’ and actresses’ personal lives are completely out of bounds. This thread is for discussing the characters and storylines only, not for trash talking or speculating about the people behind them or their personal lives. Let’s keep it fun, civil, and focused on the show, yeah?

QUESTION TIME!

Okay, so this is about the upcoming episode(s) according to spoilers. Lisa is seen getting cozy with Becky Swain on that #6 couch. The picture shows the two of them having had dinner or lunch, or whatever with wine glasses and plates still on the table. Lisa’s sitting facing Becky, legs crossed on top of the couch (VERY INVITING AND OPEN POSITION).

At some point, while they’re in deep conversation, Becky reaches out and touches Lisa’s face. Are they about to kiss? I have no idea. Lisa looks like she’s holding Becky’s hand (the one that’s on her face), and they’re just gazing into each other’s eyes.

Moments later, somehow—Roy ends up inside number six and finds them in the same setup, though Becky’s hand isn’t on Lisa’s face anymore. Lisa looks guilty in that shot, looking up at Roy, who apparently just walked right in! (Maybe Carla left him a key to “casually spy”? 😂 Who knows!)

Anyway, my question is: if Lisa and Becky were about to kiss, how should Carla react when she finds out? Roy will definitely describe what he saw in her living room. Should Carla finally give up on Lisa’s indecisive ass and let her go?

Lisa keeps saying things like “My heart is with you”—but not “I’m in love with you and only you” or “Becky is my past and you’re my future.” Honestly, Lisa hasn’t done a great job reassuring Carla about their future.

If the roles were reversed—if Carla was the one sitting with Peter Barlow on that couch (EXACTLY LIKE HOW LISA IS SEATING), his hand on her face, her holding it there and staring into his eyes—Lisa would lose it. So would Carla be justified in ending the engagement/relationship after Roy describes that scene?

Or do you think she should hold back, not jump to conclusions, and have a serious talk with Lisa first? What’s your opinion? All takes welcome! 👀

Just finished watching the cozy little Swain wives overnight sleepover in Carla Connor’s house. So… where are all the “Lisa is a victim of Becky in all this” defenders at? 👀

Come together, folks let’s discuss today’s episode. I hope you all saw what I saw: a very comfortable Lisa — yes, the same Lisa who’s supposedly the victim, accepting her wife’s (Becky’s) comforting, and might I add, very comfortably. Then lying straight through her teeth to her fiancée, and on top of that, encouraging Carla to stay away in Ireland and not come back.

LMAO! Now go on — defend Lisa! I’ll wait.

Oooohh!! 😱🔥 That is absolute chaos for all the Lisa defenders!! Like… if anyone was clinging to the “Lisa is a good partner” narrative, that IG spoilers video just dropped on Swarla HQ account is a full on grenade in their lap. Lisa actually is into it with Becky? 😳 Ohhh, the betrayal vibes are STRONG.

We’re officially in “hold onto your popcorn and watch the world burn” territory. 🍿💥@Star_moon you have got to see it!!!

I didn’t watch Monday’s episode more than once like I usually do I just didn’t have the bravery (or stomach) to sit through all that Swain lovey dovey nonsense, lol.

As it happens, our very “afraid Lisa” yes, the same Lisa supposedly terrified of her wife Becky ended up inviting her to stay when Becky suggested leaving. And of course, it all wrapped up with them reminiscing on the SWARLA couch, talking about their great love and the good ol’ days before the whole “dead wife” fiasco. I mean… if I were still riding the “Lisa is afraid or manipulated by Becky” train, I’d have jumped off that thing immediately, no brakes, just saying. 😂

Lisa loves loves Becky as she confessed to Roy, maybe even more… hmm. But then, in the same breath, she apparently loves Carla a hundred times more. Sure, why not? Whatever floats the woman’s very crowded emotional boat at this point. 😅

Anyway, let’s dive into this episode and I will add what transpires tonight for in depth discussion. I have a feeling things are about to get even messier.

And just a quick reminder before we dive in please, for the love of all things dramatic, keep the actors and actresses out of these discussions. I cannot stand when a clear warning is issued and instead of taking it down a notch, some people double down. Like seriously, WTF!
