Summary
Jack Crawford enlists the unstable but brilliant forensic profiler and professor Will Graham as a field investigator to assist in a serial abduction case after a third co-ed goes missing due to mounting pressure from the mayor of Minnesota as well as his boss Kade Prurnell to solve the case. As a safety precaution, Jack retains the psychiatric services of Dr. Hannibal Lecter to keep Will operating within the bounds of sanity, unknowingly forcing Will to confront his greatest fear. When the bluff of societal exceptions and insecurity erodes, where will Will Graham find himself? Struggling to keep his head above the raging waters of his murderous impulses with a very persistent Hannibal at his side, or standing on firm ground with Jack pushing him to his limits until he succumbs to mental breakdown? And it doesn't bode well for Jack that Will thinks he may be falling for the charming Dr. Lecter, who seems to be hiding a few secrets of his own.
