   Summary

   King Charmont struggles with convincing the populace that humans and magical creatures can live in harmony and equality - the humans are skeptical and the magical creatures don't trust him yet. When a village petitions his help to save them from a ferocious dragon that's taken roost nearby, he sees it as a perfect opportunity to prove that peace is possible. Assuming, of course, he can get the dragon to cooperate. Or find it.

   Luckily for him, he meets a helpful, although mute, woodsman who swears he can track the dragon. Char gladly accepts his assistance, but unbeknownst to him, the woodsman is keeping dangerous secrets.
