Summary
When the strange goggles attached to the Wizard-created "icono-game" were slammed down in front of Commander Sam Vimes' eyes, he didn't know what to expect. When the frost cleared, the first thing he saw was Sybil murdered and young Sam kidnapped, and because there's no world where Sam Vimes could allow that to stand, he gave chase into a world like no world he'd ever seen, where he knew no one and no one recognized him. He'd have to find new allies to help him deal with dangers that, while new, still felt sickeningly familiar. Because some things never change.
Note: A few individual chapters are explicit, and are clearly marked. The fic as a whole is Mature.

Summary
When Sam Vimes was told the Commonwealth would “cease to be”, he insisted that the wizards save every person there, not just himself. As it turned out, the number of people who were actual people was far fewer than expected, but a handful still found themselves struggling with some uncomfortable facts: they were all fictional characters made real by another person’s realness, their entire lives a scripted backstory created by a few wizards, while the real world had magic and was flat.
Raiders to barbarian “heroes”, ghouls to undead, atomic mutations to thaumic ones, there are a lot of surprising similarities between their new home and their old one. But it starts to seem like bits and pieces of the Commonwealth have followed them into the Ankh-Morpork...
Meanwhile, Sam Vimes has to deal with learning that the wife he loves and the son he thought dead are both very much alive. As wonderful as that revelation is, he’s left with the question of what to do about his new boyfriend and the synth son they’d been raising together, even while he’s gripped with the dread certainty that no matter what happens, he’s going to get it wrong.

Summary
New world, new rules.
For the Commonwealthers, getting used to life in the Discworld has taken a lot of mental adjustments. Technology isn't what it used to be, but magic is real. The world is flat, and mainframes can run off ant power. Even little things, like the directions on a map or the number of days in a week, are different. But when the setting tries to steal their swears, that proves to be a step too far, especially when Deacon has reason to suspect that the underlying cause is something... sinister.

Summary
When radium, often used in troll drugs, was extracted from pitchblende, the leftover was something that the people of the Disc called uselessium, a worthless metal that was typically discarded. Some years ago, Leonard of Quirm had studied uselessium, fascinated by some of its properties, which he thought might be useful in mining.
The dwarfs knew that pitchblende and its byproducts carried with it a sort of invisible curse, one that caused a slow, wasting sickness, and they called this sickening glow that couldn’t be seen without a scintillator the Radiant Dark.
Leonard had dismissed this as superstition. He still had his samples.
As Leonard wasted slowly over time, Vetinari assumed it was due to age, until Commander Vimes had returned from an imaginary world with imaginary people made real, a world with a different name for uselessium, a world that better understood its dangers.
How fortunate that some of these imaginary people were immune to the ravages of the Radiant Dark, and even more fortunate was that one of them, the student wizard DiMA, was now in debt to Vetinari…

Summary
Sybil begins to take an interest in her husband and his husband’s *ahem* bedroom activities, and eventually Valentine and Vimes agree to allow her to observe. Sybil soon finds that the reality doesn’t match her well-read, well-educated expectations. Valentine and Vimes never bothered with the classics on the proper way to go about things; they just do what works for them! Once she’s willing to put aside her preconceptions, the sessions prove very educational. In particular, it turns out that the “Red, Yellow, Green” short-hand that the two men use to communicate their comfort level has applications far beyond the bedroom!

Summary
Back when the “Aftermath” Icono-game was still dragging people and things from the fiction of the Commonwealth to the reality of Ankh-Morpork, a group of standard model Gen 2 synths encountered a group of trolls, and the trolls learned that synths, with all their metal and silicon and other non-organic components, were delicious. One escaped into the city, and now a family is trying to adopt him. Unfortunately, most adoptions around the city are run by the various religions, and the clerk at the temple of Io has made his view clear: the synth is an abomination, not a person. This means that it’s up to the city to decide whether the synth is person enough to be adopted, which means it’s up to Lord Vetinari.

Summary
Navigating what synths are and are not affected by in Ankh-Morpork can be a tricky matter at best. Magic in the Disc seems to share some superficial similarities with radiation. According to their narrative, synths are immune to radiation, and magic often bends to narrative… but nothing’s guaranteed.
As it turns out, sometimes a person can be simultaneously affected and not-affected by a thing, as Nick Valentine finds out when he risks entering an intense patch in a magical storm in order to save a child, and ends up quite literally beside himself as a result.
(There are a few sexually explicit sections, but these have been placed in their own chapters and will be warned for.)

Summary
Fluffy February Day 15 prompt fill for Birthday, set in the Valentine & Vimes series, where due to a bunch of magic and believe related weirdness, several Fallout 4 characters have crossed the threshold from fictional characters to actual people and have had to adapt to life in Ankh-Morpork.
Deacon escorts his adopted daughter to a birthday party at his friend Sam Vimes's house, and they discuss the primary purpose of holding a birthday celebration in the first place: maximizing the loot haul. This leads to the question of how to handle the birthdays of people who aren't born, but suddenly start existing as children or adults. The answer: just make something up!

Summary
Unseen University is (finally!) taking women and girls as students, and it's somehow all DiMA's fault. Since it's his fault, he's the one who's now expected to have an away semester in one of the areas of the Disc that has long been turning out woman wizards: Krull. Unfortunately, when he gets there he learns that does not only do Krull wizards still engage in Dead Men's Pointy Boots method of advancement, but that the students themselves are expected to get a head start in the murder of peers just to graduate. DiMA will have to deal with attempts on his life, attempts on his free time, a ridiculous sorting ritual, an insidious magical artifact, diplomacy, Home Echo-Gnostics classes, and a football enthusiast, all while trying to keep up with his classes and dealing with the creeping suspicion that he might have slipped into the wrong genre entirely.

Summary
The people of Ankh-Morpork have been distantly aware of the Wyrmberg for some time, but once Preston Garvey begins sending back iconographs taken while acting as a guard for new clacks construction, Sybil decides that it is well past time for her to see the inverted mountain’s dragons for herself, and that means it is time for the Vimes family, including their newer additions, Valentine and Shaun, to take a vacation to the remote mountain.
When they arrive, they find that the Grand Trunk company isn’t exactly on friendly terms with the local dragon riders, but surely that can’t be the fault of the Grand Trunk itself, could it? After all, everyone knows that the dragon riders of the Wyrmberg are nothing but a group of bandits and raiders.

Summary
The BLT (or Bent, Lavender, and Transfigurative) Defenders have been trying to arrange for an open celebration of who they were since… well, since before it was legal in Ankh-Morpork to actually be open about who they were. Now a new member, DiMA, has helped them to finally navigate the permit maze to allow for their parade and celebration, and they’ve invited some of the city’s most prominent “bent” individuals and allies to speak at such a momentous occasion, including Sam Vimes, much to his dismay.

Summary
“Sam, do you think that you would have fancied our Nick if you’d met him before me?”
The Vimes family enjoys a rare evening when they’re all at home, staying up late and chatting by a warm fire. A question from Sybil prompts Vimes to try and imagine what his life might have been like if had met Nick rather than Sybil back during that dragon affair, and how very different things might have been. Of course, with Nick and Sybil there to give their own inputs, the story doesn’t always quite turn out how any of them expect it.
Essentially a revisiting of the major events of Sam Vimes’s life from Guards, Guards! through Thud! as imagined under different circumstances.

Summary
Non-explicit one-shots for our Discworld/Fallout 4 crossover series. A magic accident cast Sam Vimes as the Sole Survivor. He believed what he saw was real, and his belief brought reality to the game, so when he was brought home to Ankh-Morpork, the personalities made real came with him. These are stories from an Ankh-Morpork which several of the Fallout 4 characters now call home.
An index of each mini-fic with short summaries and a list of the characters that appear in each one can be found in chapter one, to make it easier to find which story you want.

All fanart, no fic. Art fills for the Fluffy February prompts, plus a few costume and palette prompt fills, all collected into one place to make it a bit easier to find than on Tumblr. The vast majority of these are Fallout fanart, although several are from the Fallout 4+Discworld crossover series, Valentine & Vimes, so there are a couple of Discworld or Fallout+Discworld crossover pictures. A few images are gift art containing other people's original characters (usually various Sole Survivors). Pictures containing other people's characters will have links in the notes to those individuals' fics. Each chapter's title will mention the characters in that chapter's fanart.
