Description:

Based on my personal impressions and experiences playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution, NBG was initially meant to fill in some story gaps the game left open to the player's imagination.
However, with Mankind Divided been released last year I was quite disappointed with the lack of general character development. So I began to create my very own plotline connecting the two games, resulting in a multi-chapter sequel to NBG, Babel Demise.

Everything published here will be based on the events of my original New Black Gold storyline.

Notes:

I aim to keep the series mainly romance-free, but I can't deny I've heavily fallen for the Jensard pairing.
So, I'm going to try and separate the romance from the main plot (for everyone who can't agree to that particular pairing).
The romance parts will be published as a stand-alone section of this series, tying in to its narrative.

In addition, I wrote (and will continue to write) several AU Jensard romance pieces, also based on the developments in NBG and BD, which I will separately publish here too.

I disregard every piece of complementary canon fiction published for the Deus Ex games.
