SHORT FIC/ONE-SHOT READERS: Obviously this is a long story, but the following chapters can be read as stand-alones involving the Curtis brothers and gang: 11 (Darry's birthday/grief), 17 (Darry comforts Soda in a depression), 59 (Darry breakdown), 107 (Soda/Darry grief), 124 (Ponyboy and depression), and 145 (Darry grief over Dallas). Several other chapters not listed could also be read as stand-alones but do contain OCs.
LONG FIC READERS: Titled for Soda because story was not preplanned, but entire (surviving) gang is featured at different points in the story. There is a lot of Soda and others acting fine while having Issues. The focus is on friendships, trauma healing, (found) family, and (for some of them at least) romance. Canon-complaint. Adult themes are present including abuse, assault, mental health/suicide, references to sexuality.
EVERYONE: I accept and LOVE suggestions/prompts. My writing style is to post my initial draft as soon as it's written and then revise as the story progresses. Therefore, minor rewrites are frequent and earlier chapters are more "finalized" than later ones.
