Summary
In which Hao’s violin goes missing minutes before his solo performance at a major award show. Causing the boy to embarrass himself in front of thousands—an irreversible moment of public humiliation that shatters him into pieces.
And where Soobin makes an impulsive, irredeemable mistake that he’ll end up paying the price for later on. A haunting guilt that follows him around no matter where he goes, clinging onto him like a second skin.
The closer Hao grows to him, the pain of losing his violin begins to fade away. Confiding in and trusting Soobin—just to find out that very pain was caused by the hands of him, of the boy he’s begun to fall in love with.
Or: Soobin steals Hao’s violin in an attempt to sabotage his performance, under the assumption the boy doesn’t like him. Guilt-ridden, he quickly finds out that Hao isn’t the arrogant idol he thought he was.
