Summary
When Thatch is shopping for provisions, he overhears a conversation between a young teen and a merchant.
He let them be right until the moment he heard the merchant lie to get a sale. His pride as a chef couldn't let this go and he interfered.
In the end he helped the fairly new captain, Portgas D. Ace, shop to stock up his own boat.
When they parted, Thatch knew he wouldn't mind meeting the young captain again.Series
