Yeon Sieun is always first place. An undisputed fact, unchanged and true. He didn't care for anyone until he was assigned to work with Jin Eunseo, second place, for a Korean Literature project. The girl Sieun thought was the same as him couldn't be anymore different. Curiosity bloomed into the flowers of first love.
Jin Eunseo was a big fish in a tiny pond back in Jeju. In the mainland, she is just a fish among sharks. Still, Eunseo wants to make something out of her life. To prove she is more than just the dragon that made it out of the stream. When Yeon Sieun defended her first out of anyone in the mainland, Eunseo found herself experiencing the same great first love fated for members of the Jin family.

Sieun paused, blinked slowly as he turned away from the river, and looked at him. Seongje still didn’t understand how the same gentle eyes could that looked at him now could hide the same violence that he danced with for so long.
“Who are you? Who are you really?” He finally said quietly.
The question stopped Seongje, the usual quick replies leaving him. He figured there were quite a few people who believed they had the answer. But Seongje realized, even as he sat there under the trees and the starlight and Sieun’s gaze, that he didn’t have one.
