I think about what Four said about Eric sitting back and watching what he calls the weaker initiates struggle. “However, perhaps it would be best for you to build some skill before stage one ends. Practicing how to throw punches with another initiate might not be the best end game for you. You need someone with more experience. More authority.”
I glare at him. I know what he’s entertaining, and I want no part in it.

I couldn’t breathe, no matter how much I heaved, air seemed to fly right past me. The broken lands seemed to only crumble more as I fled. His voice echoed in my brain, unrecognizable and yet unmistakable at the same time. The pounding of my feet matched my heart. Almost in rhythm with the voice that screamed at me.

Amity (that's us btw) farm the land, i don't think people understand that they can eat because we exist. We might be all peace and love but don't think we just sit around singing kumbaya all day.
Then there's Candor, they value order and honesty, those guys talk a lot and often and I might be a Candor myself because HONESTLY all I want them to do is shut up.
There's also Abnegation, I almost forget about them, they're selfless, they take care of the factionless and kind of run our government. They never think of themselves, it's kind of sad really.
And of course we have Dauntless, wow talk about adrenaline junkies. They're like our police, the great protectors of the other four factions. They're all fuckin crazy, but that's why i love them so much.[Divergent x Oc's]

“I don’t think you get it.” Heat rises into my face. I do not want to tell him this. I do not want him to know this. But he needs to understand. I need him to understand. This is not a burden I can carry on my own. That weight might be more than I can bear. I cannot let them rule me. I cannot let them control me. I cannot even let them think that by degrading me to my sex they’ve made me small. (Even if part of me thinks it is true that they did.) I force out the words. “They touched me.” I cannot bring myself to say the word “rape”, not yet.
His entire body tightens at my words, his hand clenching around the ice pack. “Touched you,” he repeats, his dark eyes cold.
I force myself to meet his eyes. “Yes,” I say, as if I am daring him to challenge me.So I was rereading Divergent and I got to the scene where Tris gets attacked. And I couldn't help think, "What if that hadn't been Al? What if Four hadn't gotten there in time? What if things had gone differently?" So I wrote it.
