You're tired. So tired, in fact, that you can't bear to stay in your own universe for any longer than strictly neccessary to build a machine to get you out of there.
Is it because you are suffering an apocalypse?
Has your world ended in destruction and death?
Was there something directly affecting you that brought you to this conclusion?No. You're just some human with depression, but would literally rather experience the potential horrors of space-time travel than go out by your own hand. That's it.
Even if it means leaving the one person that cared about you there behind. Hopefully, it's worth it.
