Summary
Desmond had a new life. An affordable apartment, a job he actually somewhat liked, people he may even call friends. However, with a past buried six feet underground, it was only a matter of time before the ghosts started haunting him. Maybe even quite literally.
On the other side, there was Shaun, who had taken the grief created by Clay's death and sworn himself to see Subject 17 as nothing more than a number. Because numbers can't hurt you.
In the end, both of them broke their promises.
