Summary
Zuko was having a very bad day. He lost the Avatar, this random Earth peasant won't shut up and now he's hiding from his own country. He wasn't a traitor, Zhao just didn't understand strategy.
Also he might have given Uncle a stress induced Ulcer.

Summary
Aang is born female. It doesn't change all that much, until it does. What twelve-year-old girl wouldn't instantly develop a crush on the masked dual-sword-wielding bad boy that busted her out of Avatar jail?
Zuko's dignity suffers.
A story in which Aang accidentally humanizes herself to Zuko far earlier than her canon counterpart by the simple virtue of being a girl with an awkward crush. Well, Aang is the one with the crush. The awkward part is mostly Zuko.

Summary
Aang never finds out Zuko is the Blue Spirit. He never gets the chance. But he's certain the Blue Spirit can help him in his quest to stop the Fire Lord. Unfortunately, no one has seen the Blue Spirit since the night they rescued Aang, until Sokka finds himself in the same Fire Nation jail cell as their mysterious benefactor.

Summary
But then why is he chasing you? A voice in the back of his mind spoke up. Why isn’t he back at the Royal Palace, doing… royalty stuff? Aang was fairly sure there hadn’t been any runaway princes a hundred years ago – at least not without an army to back them up. And he was trying, he really was, but Zhao was scary and Zuko was technically a traitor, and were you still even royalty if you betrayed the Fire Lord–?
Looking back at Zuko, Aang made his choice.
And saw that it was much, much too late for that choice to mean anything.
Aang takes a little too long to act when he discovers the Blue Spirit’s identity — an identity soon exposed at large — and Zuko is brought back into Pohuai Stronghold. That night, Aang overhears a little too much, and Zuko gains a little too good of an understanding of what it means to be captured. With chances of returning home dwindling, Zuko begins asking Iroh what his mission truly means, while Aang is ecstatic that there may be more to Zuko’s motivations than they all thought.
All the while, a letter is racing over the seas to the Royal Palace. And one Fire Nation Princess may soon be on everyone’s trail…

Summary
“A long time ago, before the spirit and mortal worlds were separated, before the Avatar and benders, spirits of Fate and Destiny watched over and guided the early humans. They saw that humans were social creatures, needing love and connection, and they came up with a plan to ensure that we would get the support we need through our lives and find the people who could give it to us."
A soulmate AU where people are born with marks indicating the people they are destined to love, either romantically or platonically. When they meet one of their soulmates, they can perform a soulbond and be taken to moments from the other person's past, during which they're invisible and can only interact by touch with the person they're soulbonding with.

The Blue Spirit risked everything to rescue the Avatar from Zhao. After escaping unscathed together into the forest, the two end up having a (initially) one-sided conversation until Aang realized exactly who saved him - and why.

Summary
The plan seemed clear enough, at first. Get in Zhao's way, put the Avatar in play again, and see what happens. But while Zuko might have succeeded escaping Zhao with the Avatar in tow, unanticipated wrinkles in the plan leave him feeling extremely conflicted. Who rescued who, in the end?

Summary
They call him Blue Spirit. The Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom have declared him an enemy of the state. People whisper he’s a spirit, not human. Zuko knows better as he offers a prayer to the Dark Water Spirit, spirit of the dark waters, trickery, and chaos.
The Blue Spirits moves with the shadows, and the Dark Water Spirit is there, watching the boy’s soundless steps.
Or: Zuko and the Dark Water Spirit form some sort of alliance.

Summary
An Arranged Marriage to the Fire Lord's oldest child isn't what Sokka wanted in life, but he figures he can put it off until he can't anymore. If only his soon to be brother-in-law would stop giving him gifts.
-
Zuko is now apparently engaged. Great. Even better, it's to someone that hates his guts. If only his fiancé would stop rejecting his courting methods.
-
Ozai is glad to finally be rid of his son. Shipping him off to Chief Hakoda's oldest child made sure he'll be out of his hair. It's only a bonus the wife-to-be is a waterbender.
-
Hakoda is guilty, he can't believe he sold off his son to some Fire Nation princess for peace. He doubts Sokka can even look him in the eyes anymore.
-
Aang and Katara are confused. Why is everyone acting so weird, and why is Zuko not trying to capture Aang? Is that a gift?!
-
Ursa will not allow her son to go through the same pain she did. The question is who to pick off before the wedding? Her ex-husband or the spouse-to-be? -

Summary
Avatar Aang leaves the South Pole with Katara and Sokka without ever having met a Fire Nation soldier, much less Prince Zuko.
Instead, he meets Commander Zhao shortly after settling onto Kyoshi Island, a cunning military man who has no teenaged prince in the vicinity to antagonize. Not that he would have if he did.
Prince Zuko dines in the Royal Palace with his parents, Fire Lord Ozai and Fire Lady Ursa, his younger sisters Princess Azula and Princess Kiyumi (known affectionately as Kiyi to her brother), and his uncle Prince Iroh, the Dragon of the West.
In a world where Zuko was never banished, where Ozai was never anything except the best father and husband he could be to his family (though that didn't extend to the rest of the Fire Nation), and where Zuko and Azula fought only as much as any pair of siblings, Avatar Aang emerges into a different world than he otherwise could've, a world where everyone has their own motivations, a world with more united royal family than we've seen before.
Or so it appears.
