No, he was staring at the bag that Stiles was holding instead. A bag, Stiles noticed with rapidly mounting horror, where a very realistic human looking hand had poked through the thin plastic for the world to see.
“It’s not what you think,” Stiles blurted out on instinct but when those frankly impressive eyebrows lifted up in a perfect expression of incredulity, Stiles realized that admitting the truth might be more humiliating than just letting his neighbor assume the worst. Quickly and without thinking, he backtracked. “Okay, it’s exactly what you’re thinking.”

The door swung open, and Stiles’ mouth fell open right along with it. Chris was standing there, wearing tight jeans that clung to his thighs and a button down shirt that clung to everything, and Stiles took a long moment to remember how to breathe. When he did, he flushed darker red, not able to tear his eyes away.
He knew Chris was hot, but dear god. This was just—this was just ridiculous, really, and Stiles had no idea what to even say. His throat was so dry that he wasn’t even sure if he’d be able to get words out, let alone a coherent sentence with how it felt like his brain was melting right out of his head. Stiles had no idea how the hell he got someone so hot to go out with him, but damn, did he feel lucky.
