Summary
Batman is only on the tail end of his first year as the feared crusader of the night, and it is becoming clear that his methods aren’t working. Crime rates remain stagnant, and the criminals themselves have only become crueler and more cunning. He’s exhausted from pulling long nights without sleep, and barely able to maintain his one man war against Gotham’s unending underbelly. It’s only a matter of time before something gives.
Harper Row has had a rough life. She’s only thirteen and she’s already been forced into being the primary provider for her family, performing odd jobs and petty crimes to keep her little brother and alcoholic father safe and cared for. However, when she gets roped into stealing a package from A.C.E Chemicals, her path crosses with the infamous Batman, and her life changes forever.
Meanwhile in an abandoned theme park on the outskirts of the city, someone new is plotting and planning. And his machinations will bring Gotham to its knees.

Summary
Cassandra Wayne and her little brother Tim Wayne were the only people to escape Carmine Falcone's attack on the Gotham Royal family, but unfortunately, after the dust settled, the children were never found. The citizen's of Gotham mourn the loss of the two youngest royals along with the rest of their family every year. Yet in a far off orphanage, a girl with no knowledge of who is was before getting there, is about to age out of the orphanage and take her brother with her, a girl who looks exactly like the young princess who went miss all those years ago. As that young girl sets off, with little brother in tow, she stumbles across a group of criminals who are very adamant about helping the two of them get out of town. The smooth talking leader catches her eye, the tall blonde who promises to help her, she may be lying, but she will get her where she needs to go. Little do they all know, an old enemy never died, and is determined to finish what he started.
