“I grieve you- what we could’ve been.. everyday.” A hushed voice said, cradling Lance’s face.
Lance, a soul once filled with endless light struggles to overcome Allura's death but eventually he comes to terms with the fact that not everyone gets their fairy tale ending. Of course Keith was by his side unknowingly help him in his journey while waiting for Lance with the hope that they would one day be together. It turns out that Lance did in fact get his fairy tale ending, just not the one he expected.

Lance stood before the cork board in the main high school hallway. "Battle of the bands huh?" He smirked to himself as an idea came to mind, and he ripped the flyer off the tacks.
"This is it!" Lance exclaimed excitedly to the two others in the band room. "this is what will take allura to notice me! If we win then she'll have to go on a date with me!" He continued pointing the paper in both of their faces as they disassembled their instruments.

Summary
Shiro's an Alpha in his prime: but that doesn't mean he's making the most of it. His life revolves around routines, and he's slowly but surely overworking himself into an early grave. Lance was introducing everyone to Allura, Hunk was mingling, and Shiro was actually working on the mission. But, Pidge seemed to be the only one that noticed Keith was nowhere to be found.
They were looking everywhere until finally they found Keith on the rooftop with none other than James Griffin, the man he hated. Pidge tried not to eavesdrop, but Keith having a calm and collected conversation with someone he despised was a once in a lifetime experience. They could pick up bits and pieces of what the two were talking about, but the last sentence Pidge heard before zoning out in shock stood out the most.
