Summary
When she wakes and sees his masked form crouched beneath her, Rey breathes a sigh of relief.
"Ben."
Immediately the cuffs unlatch around her wrists and she launches herself at him.
And she knows she should not.
He doesn't know her yet.
Doesn't love her yet.
He would probably try and kill her then and there, but to her surprise he stood frozen.
It was then she noticed that the storm troopers had them surrounded but Ben's gloved hand cupped the back of her head and with a wave of his hand, the troopers all fall down.
Something dark slithers through her, and she welcomes it, embraces it, he always called to the Dark in her, made it pulse through her every heartbeat. Made her feel it in her core.
She reaches up and clicks the mechanism that unlatches his mask, and watches eagerly as his voice modulator lifts up and her fingers scramble to remove the offending mask from his beautiful face.
She sees his plush lips first, that strong nose, before those big, brown eyes blink down at her. Her hands were buried in his princely hair, and her mouth on his before the mask clatters to the floor.
