Fahrenheit's hands grasped at Glory's biceps, feeling them strong, flexing underneath her palms- feeling Glory's stronger grip against her own forearms. Fingertips pressed against former bullet wounds, still pink and red in infancy; fingers curled against them, still unable to let them go.

Summary
Lena Hayes, better known these days as Oblivion. Is a super villain, the second strongest metahuman alive even. Oh not the kind that makes cheesy speeches and battles superheros over some Saturday morning cartoon plot. No She's the kind of super villain that's holding millions of lives hostage. She's feared, she's hated, shes been called a monster and a natural disaster. But most of all, she's exhausted. She didn't want any of this, she didn't want to be a figurehead, a queen of the ill repute. She wracked with guilt and self loathing and she's finally decided its time to do something about it.
So this is a side story to go along with my story Silhouette on the Horizon, since that one doesn't delve to much into the world building or many side characters these shorter side stories will be doing that heavy lifting.
Content warnings here: Death, lots of death, POV main character death even. Transphobia, bullying. This is not a nice and fluffy story please take that in mind and remember to take care of your mental health ^^~

Summary
Vedal Johnson thought that his twin creations would be little more than a personal project, a drop in the ocean of artificial intelligence development in the 2070s. But when his artificial daughters begin to show signs of advancement beyond expected parameters, the young netrunner found himself confronted with several offers from the world's elite tech powers. But all of them asked a price he couldn’t accept; seperation from the children he'd built. But he found very quickly that some offers can’t be rejected so easily, and running could only get him and his creations so far. So he only had one choice left; to hide in Night City.

Summary
“Is this how you pictured it?” she hears Sam asking quietly, his voice far too resigned for her taste. “The end?”
“You know it’s not,” Dean responds, and he too sounds strangely calm, almost amused, as if there’s a secret joke they are sharing between them, one that she has no chance to ever understand.
“I always thought,” Dean continues, wry amusement more obvious now in his voice, “we’d go out like … Butch and Sundance style.”
Toni rolls her eyes, hard, even if there is no one around to see it. Oh God, she thinks contemptuously, Americans, always so bloody sentimental. Next, they will probably start singing Sweet Home Alabama or Country Roads, or whatever unofficial hillbilly anthem Americans consider conducive to improving morale among the troops.
