Summary
Bracken knows loneliness. Unicorns don't stick with their families. They're bound to seek solitude, a nature ingrained in their traditions and sense of self, one that he was taught from and early age not to fight. The thing is, there was always this restlessness living and breathing inside of him, ever since he was young and impressionable, a seed that might as well be the same one his cousin carried; a permanent questioning of their beliefs, a never ending dissatisfaction that only seemed to grow, and on top of that, a curiousness about what else was there outside the Fairy Realm.
It had led both of them to the human world, and from then on, nothing was ever the same. But where Ronodin got intoxicated with the grey darkness only mortals were capable of, Bracken found freedom, and he was enamoured with it. Entranced by their cultures, their lifestyles, their ability to choose right or wrong, of failing and trying once again, only to fail once more. But, if anything, he learnt that humans always get back up.
And then he was locked up. A dark time that came to an end with her. The brightest light he has ever seen, that came to bring him freedom, love like no other, and something else called a home.- Language:

Because Seth had caused so much harm to them already.After the Titan Games, Celebrant captures Seth, who has newly regained his memories. Celebrant hands Seth over to Ronodin, who brings him to the Fairy Realm, determined to force Seth to join him. But although Seth is shattered with guilt, he will resist Ronodin with all of his will. While Ronodin and Seth are in the Fairy Realm, Kendra has to fix the destruction the dragons are causing. And she is desperate to find Seth and save the world.
This story happens around the end of Book Four: Champion of the Titan Games and the beginning of Book Five: Return of the Dragon Slayers in the Dragonwatch series.

Summary
When speaking with Graulus, Seth is told he already has dark energy on him from pulling the nail out of the Revenant's neck. Becoming a shadowcharmer completed the bond. In my opinion, this means he should be more powerful than the average shadowcharmer, yet we rarely get to see his powers (in contrast to Kendra using hers literally every single book).
On top of this, Agad tells Seth he has never seen a shadowcharmer so young before, though he has seen younger fairykind (I assume this is because of purity and young maidens and yada yada yada whatever this isn't about Kendra) so I think dark power that physically twists the owner is quite interesting.
If this sounds cool, read on.
(btw this takes place AFTER the battle of Zyzzx but before Dragonwatch (mainly because I hate Knox and Tess, and I've only finished rereading up until book 2).
