Summary
Six months ago, telekinetic biker dyke supervillain Maddy Gillespie returned to Alberta to expose the cover-up of how three teens, superheroes in training, died on a Prairie League Cadets trip; along the way, they left their technical Hero/full-time creep nemesis, Neal "Slider" Salton, for dead at the bottom of an elevator shaft. Maddy's intervention also prompted fellow former Cadet (and closeted trans girl with a crush) Abigail "Quickstep" Fleming to resign her Hero job in disgust, disappear, and transition.
Last week, Abigail turned up in Texas, offering information she hoped would repay her debt to Maddy. Meanwhile, the alive-but-amnesiac Slider has blundered into Peterborough, Ontario, looking for answers...

Summary
Maddy Gillespie is mad as hell. After spectacularly quitting her job as a government Hero, and defecting to the villainous Korps, the trans biker dyke sheep-bear swore she’d never go back to Alberta. Then the incident at Primrose Lake made the news.
As a teen, Maddy was enrolled in the junior Hero training program operated by Dad’s old team. They attended “Cold Weather Survival Training” at Camp Primrose, too… but on their own cadet winter trip, back in 2012, nobody died. Furious at the Prairie League’s neglect of their teenage charges, Maddy heads to Edmonton to investigate, intent on exposing the public to the dirty secrets of training young supers. On the way, she’ll have to go through a cowardly informant, her reply-guy nemesis, a local legend, and one of her teenage bullies, now a high-profile Hero himself… and why is he so weirdly chill about her being a supervillain?
