Fit of Giggles is a Wordgirl grimdark fic inspired by a few popular works of fiction:
-Island of the Slaughtered (In the storytelling format)
-My Little Worms (In the sense that it ressurected my interest in horror)
-Marvel Ruin (In the manner of things going horribly wrong.)Fit of Giggles, similarly to a story like Marvel Ruin or Island of the Slaughtered, is much more focused on telling us what’s happened than it is telling a true story. I would like to clarify that as well as I can.

Summary
Miss Power is fleeing what was a losing battle against Wordgirl, and desperately needs to recover. A meteorite has different plans however, and she and her partner Colonel Gigglecheeks are now plummeting back to Earth.
Amazing Rope Guy is being let out of his cell, seeing as with Miss Power gone, they don't have any actual charges to keep him there. Besides every other villain aside from him escaped anyways. He is bored, and just wants to go home when he sees something crash from the sky, just outside the city limits.
What seems like an unlikely pair of total opposites, spend time getting to know each other, and end up helping each other along the way. A series of One-Shots highlights some of their moments.

Summary
This is a reimagining of the miss power movie its something that I've been planning to do for a while now. I've always been interested in taking the Wordgirl concept and dissecting it, WordGirl (while obviously, a children's cartoon made for kids) in my opinion gave a very human take on the superhero genre and I wanted to take it and give those elements more attention (don't worry the comedy is still there but it's interwoven within the much larger story) I chose miss power to be my villain because I see her as being the most down to earth and realistic of the bunch and her character perfectly fits into story im trying to tell. PS. The inspiration for this was Urasawa (monster manga creator) 2003 reimagining of "Pluto" by Tezuka seeing how he took what was such a simple (yet still revolutionary) story and in my opinion reshaped it into something new changed my entire perception of the reimagining gen but Enough rambling I hope you enjoy my retelling about a super-powered child's encounter with jane lynch

Summary
Smilia Power has always known what she wants. While her peers have been interested in serving the Empire with careers involving medicine, engineering, or academia, she knows that her place is in the Proelium Empire's military, defeating their enemies and conquering planet in order to build and expand their territory.
And she'll rise to the top of the military to be one of Proelium's best soldiers.
