He was not Danny to them, no he was other. To Jack and Maddie, he was other. Sam and Tucker were dead. Jazz was dead. And the shitty thing was he couldn't even reach them now, couldn't sit at his office and balance the scales, the feather to the heart, the Condemned to the worthy. He watched impassively as another "doctor" raised a bone saw.
Danny was swept away by the GIW on his sixteenth birthday. Freshly eighteen in Gotham, he makes a life for himself among the people of the city. Until he feels something wrong, something familiar.
The Red Hood is at least a little dead, that's for certain. But does Hood know what he is?

Jason Todd was many things. A former Robin, a reluctant member of the Bat Family, an uncle to Mar'i and Lian, a former crime lord, an anti-hero known as the Red Hood. What he is not, is a father. Well, at least he wasn't until the Lazarus pits spit out a baby boy who looks remarkably a lot like he does, an ancient ghost who tells him that this baby is now his son and to keep him safe. Oh! And did he forget that the baby is the future Ghost King and has some type of Eldritch powers and he finds out that he was something called a Revenant?
Of course, he decided to lay low for a bit and not tell anyone he now had a kid whilst he sets the boy up with some papers, because how was he supposed to say that the baby was birthed by pit water? And oh look, Bruce and the rest of the Batfamily want to meet the new member of their family! Perfect. This wasn't how he expected his day to go when he woke up.
