Five months after breaking up with Ethan and getting back together with Brian, Justin's life begins to be what it was when he finds out, thanks to Daphne, that Ethan has canceled the rest of his European tour and is returning home.

Justin thinks he doesn't care but that idea stays in his mind and when the day comes, he finds himself waiting to see if Ethan shows up at the university, with no luck.

“Okay,” Brian says, and his voice is a little softer now, a little gentler, but not in a way that feels condescending. Rather, it instantly puts Justin at ease. Makes him feel safe.
