Summary
Drabble from Jesa's (Kyoshi's mother) POV
Leaving the Air Nation to become a criminal, having a child, and being tracked by the Earth Sages and eventually coming to the difficult decision to leave Kyoshi in Yokoya.
The idea behind it is how in the novel "The Rise of Kyoshi" it's noted that the Earth Sages kept trying to find the new Earth Kingdom Avatar using the ritual of directional geomancy to locate them, but every time they showed up in the location there was no Avatar and location kept changing every time they did it. The Earth Sages thought their traditional method was just not working. But in actuality it was probably because Kyoshi's parents, Jesa and Hark, were criminals who saw a bunch of powerful Earth Sages were headed their way and booked it out of town ASAP thinking the Sages were after them.
