Snow crunched under Yuuri’s insulated boots as he strode steadily toward the lake, the wide white expanse covered in drifts and eddies like waves upon the frozen surface. He paused at the shore, leaning against an old fence marking the path he’d followed and raising his face to the sky. The group had come out earlier and had been treated to some spectacular views of the aurora, but this was different. It was silent save for the wind whistling over the frozen water and Yuuri felt as if he were the only one on Earth. A few bright stars sparkled down at him from behind the veil of color painting the velvet blue-black of the sky, but most had been drowned out by the aurora. He’d always thought the northern lights were green, but he saw a rainbow of colors, more than earlier that evening, ribbons of green and pink and blue and purple streaking across the sky.

Prompt 2: Victor spots himself in the picture frame on Yuuri's desk after they come back from the Cup of China. Yuuri had turned it around and pushed it back, forgetting its being there under his shelf. His mother dusted his room and turned it around, placing it in easy sight. Victor enters Yuuri's room and notices it before he does. This leads to a fumbled explanation and a kiss.

Yuuri walked over to the door and opened it. He saw the large head of a dragon with eyes as blue as the sky and scales as white as snow. Yuuri closed the door.
“Haha,” he said. “I’m still dreaming!” He pinched himself and opened the door once again to see an incredibly gorgeous and tall man with pale skin, silver hair and a heart-shaped smile standing at the other side of his door. He was wearing nothing at all.

The dragon goes on one knee, which looks absurdly comical with how lopsided that makes his bulky body, and swings his ocean blue tail around to retrieve the iron manacles tied around it. This, the dragon presents to Yuuri in two clawed hands and a happy rumble.
"Crown Prince Yuuri Katsuki, 14th generation of the Kingdom of Hasetsu. Will you do me the honor of becoming my royal captive in a tower?"

“A human,” Yuri observes slowly. Because it is. A human. Dark haired, with fog-dusted glasses and a truly unfortunate number of layers to ward off the autumn chill. He smells vaguely of sea salt: crisp and sharp, the mark of a water mage. Nothing extremely special, otherwise. The closest Yuri explanation can come up with for having been dragged all this way is Viktor deciding to add “Magical humans” to his list of hoard-viable objects. Which, although stupid and a perfect example of Viktor’s terrible life decisions, is still sadly within the realm of his ridiculousness.
The noise Viktor makes is—high and floaty, somewhere between a purr and a chirp, deeply pleased, and sounding entirely out of place on a currently house-sized dragon, even one as elegant as Viktor. For a moment Yuri simply stares, the vibrations of it tingling on his spine. And then his brain makes the leapfrog from point A: Viktor’s obscenely cheerful mood to point B: what is that smile what are those dopey eyes Viktor what the fuck—
What the actual fuck.
“Vitya, that’s a human,” Yuri hisses, whirling, as the whole and appalling picture snaps into place.
