Summary
The contact of a glance, the burn of a touch, and... a dangerous game that pushes them a little closer to each other.
After being abandoned by his girlfriend who ran off to Europe, Buck tries to piece himself back together. His broken heart no longer knows who to trust.
When he saves the life of a child and his grandmother, he has no idea that this heroic act will change his own life. Because the child’s father, Eddie Diaz, isn’t like other men. Rich, charismatic, unpredictable… just one look from him is enough to shake all of Buck’s certainty.
Buck has never been the type to submit. But in Eddie’s arms, another side of him wakes up—a side he didn’t even know existed.
Until he discovers that the man who unsettles him, challenges him, and makes him come like no one else… is also the one who runs one of Los Angeles’s most powerful companies.
And that their story might be more than just a game.I'm not very good to English, so please forgive any mistakes I didn't spot (there may be a lot.)

Summary
a 5+1 fic of five times Eddie goes to his spot outside of town to escape his life in El Paso, and the one time he brings someone there with him.
Eddie’s sixteen and pulling into the driveway of his family home, thinking about six years ago when Adriana was born and he tried to drive his dad’s truck. A couple months before, Ramon had pulled Eddie aside and told him it was time for him to ‘be the man of the house’. Eddie, at ten years old, didn’t think to call someone to come help or drive Helena to the hospital when her water broke because that’s not what the man of the house would do. Eddie, at ten years old, didn’t know how to drive the truck, so he ended up scraping the paint off one side and a punishment that was less about teaching and more about making sure he remembered.

Summary
Eddie buys groceries, makes the poblano, bean soup that Buck loves, then attempts snickerdoodles by himself using Buck’s favorite recipe for Chris’ favorite cookies. While Eddie pretends they’re both simply out at the zoo or at the park or the library and any minute they’ll be home to share food with him.
Any minute he’ll turn around and they’ll be at their home on South Bedford Street. They’ll all be happy and together and Eddie won’t be all alone with baking ingredients that have no basket Buck made to store them and cookies that taste like cinnamon sorrow.
Any minute now. They’ll be here. He’ll have them back. Any minute.

Summary
When a viral video of Eddie Diaz heroically carrying an injured Buck through a storm-drenched rescue goes global, everyone at the 118 Firehouse has seen it—except Eddie. Unaware of the footage that’s racked up millions of views (and even more comments about their “undeniable chemistry”), Eddie spends days baffled by his crew’s stifled laughter, cryptic jokes, and Buck’s sudden inability to act normal around him. It isn’t until Christopher innocently mentions the “movie-like” video that Eddie discovers the truth: the world thinks he and Buck are in love.
Confronting Buck leads to a long-overdue confession, but the real surprise isn’t the kiss—it’s the firefam’s betting pool finally cashing in.

Summary
The 118 and Athena respond to a house fire. A little boy no one has ever seen before just saved two lives by simply knocking on the door. Unfortunately he isn't done being a tiny hero yet and runs into the fire to save a little boy's cat no one knows where he is or if he's okay. Bobby find the little guy and it ends up being a rescue to remember one that changes his and Athenas lives forever (in the best way possible obviously). Happy chaos basically.

Summary
The phone rings. Once. Twice. Three times. It's onto the fourth ring when Eddie debates hanging up. He doesn't need to talk to anyone. He doesn't. But. But…he loves Abuela. She's always been his rock in times of struggle. And she adores Buck like he's her own grandchild. His strong presence in Eddie and Christopher’s life has meant that, before she moved back to Texas, Abuela had the time to fall in love with Buck. And who wouldn’t? Eddie thinks to himself. Who wouldn't fall in love with him?"
Or, Eddie grapples with his feeling and makes a call after leaving the hospital post-lighting strike. Basically, a missing scene between Eddie and his Abuela in the wake of Buck's death and subsequent coma.

Summary
Sophia managed to get Buck alone in the kitchen. “Hey, Buck, right? I’ve heard so much about you. Seriously, Eddie does not shut up about you.”
Buck gave her a bashful smile, and yeah, Sophia could definitely see how easily Eddie fell for him. The air around this guy screamed warmth and comfort, two things that Sophia knew Eddie craved.
“I can say the same about you,” he said.
“How long have you two been together?”
The way Buck tilted his head reminded Sophia of an overgrown puppy, the pull of his eyebrows bringing attention to his frankly beautiful eyes. “Together?”
Eddie and Buck were in El Paso for Christmas. The Diaz family has opinions.

Summary
One and a half cups of coffee (and one cup of ginger tea for Eddie that Maddie swears by) later Buck finally asks, “So, what were you doing up so early anyway? It was barely 6:30 when I found you.”
“I wasn’t up long—“
Buck narrows his eyes at him.
“Okay, not too long. I woke up around three, and couldn't go back to sleep.” Eddie shrugs. “Also, I’m…reasonably sure I’m in labor.”
“What?” Buck sets his mug down. “Eddie, why didn’t you say anything? How far apart are your contractions?”

Summary
It's late summer in El Paso and Eddie has forgotten the way the humidity makes it all hotter. The temperature reads the same, or close to, what L.A. was at when he checked his phone, but the heaviness of the air is making the skin behind his ears damp with sweat, thick and settling on his skin like too many clothes. He groans a little, rolling over on the shitty pullout couch his mom had set up for him. Eddie had insisted that Buck take the spare bed on the other side of the guest room. Eddie knows just how uncomfortable the pullout is but he had figured, between listening to his mother brag about what a wonderful time Chris had been having and his father’s uncomfortable expression across the dinner table, what was one more act of martyrdom in Texas, anyway? What was one more piece of punishment on top of it all? He knows he shouldn’t be punishing himself, he’s done his penance, but it feels like there will never be enough penance in the world for traumatizing Christopher like that. No matter how much Eddie misses Shannon.
~
Unable to sleep due to the Texas heat, Eddie and Buck talk in the kitchen with Isabel about Christopher, summertime, and Eddie's family.

Summary
“And then Marisol came and she…” He gestured around the kitchen with his arm, hissing a bit the moment his skin stretched on the burn, “she cooked for me once or twice, and never learned where things were, but I still pictured her as la virgencita and stuff. I couldn’t even kiss her without feeling there was something wrong with me.”
“¿Como la Virgen María?” As the virgin Mary? His abuela wonders, and for a moment Eddie thinks he can hear a pinch of playfulness in her tone.
“Yeah that’s… a longer story.”
