Rauthmirelle was meant for silky gawn hauls and an arranged life among the golden trees of Lothlórien. But like most would say: "like father like daughter", she never listened.

While Estel, whose suppose to learn how to be a king secretly trained in the healing arts—Rauth joined the Rivendell guard team and replaced his name.
So when the time comes for the mysterious ranger to answer the call of the Ring, it’s not Estel who steps forward.
It’s her.
Now, hiding behind her brother’s name, Rauth travels with the Fellowship toward Mordor, cloaked in lies. But one member of the company watches her too closely: Legolas, the Prince of Mirkwood. Sharp, and impossibly rude—he's the one complication she can’t afford.
Because she’s starting to wish she wasn’t lying.

But while she only means to spare her son future pain, their disagreement causes Estel to run away - straight into a forest teeming with wolves.
Desperate to get him back safely, she turns to the very elves that were at the center of their argument: Elladan and Elrohir.
For while she may doubt the depth of their feelings for her son, she does not doubt the promise they have made to keep him safe.

When autumn deepens, they journey west beyond the forest, seeking quiet roads and the simple beauty of the mortal world. Yet the land feels changed, heavy with silence. In a small village wrapped in mist, whispers rise of seregrog, blood spirits said to descend from Thuringwethil’s brood, thought long vanished from the world.
What begins as unease becomes fear, and fear becomes truth. Something walks by night, unseen but watching, drawn to light, and to love that burns too brightly.
Together, Elrohir and Legolas must face what lingers in the dark, where desire and death entwine, and the line between beauty and horror blurs. For where the light falters, shadows remember, and evil waits to be named again.

The Dúnedain are sworn to serve and protect the heir of Isildur. Míril, foster daughter of Halbarad, is no different. When Gildor's warning reaches Míril that Gandalf has gone missing she acts once again in service of her chieftain no matter the cost.
But on the eve of the War of the Ring, nightmares of a deep ocean and the drowning of Eärendil's star begin to plague her sleep, causing the Wise in Middle Earth to fear the fiery blood running through her veins can no longer stay hidden. Neither from the Enemy, nor from Míril herself.

Patterns and echoes of what she knew was supposed to happen - she could see them everywhere. She was what was wrong in the picture, the thing that shifted everything and caused devastating changes, and yet even then the weave of history showed a similar image to what she had expected.
Being reincarnated into the body of an Elf, growing up in Rivendell, it had always sounded like a dream to her. It was both a dream and a nightmare. Love and grief were inseperable for her, even when she was surrounded by people who were supposed to be immortal. The future loomed menacingly ahead, promising war, love, and even more loss.
She didn't want it. She wanted freedom to choose her own fate, and she wanted the freedom to explore Middle-earth.
