Summary
“Does this change a thing between us?” Buck asks, his voice low, his hands still framing Eddie’s face. He can feel the unsteady breaths leaving Eddie’s lips, warm against his own.
Eddie looks wrecked. His cheeks are flushed, lips red and kiss-swollen, his glassy eyes locked on Buck’s mouth like it’s the only thing he can see. He looks as hungry as Buck feels. Buck feels Eddie’s fingers trace along his arms, squeezing just enough to leave his skin tingling.
“I don’t know.”
It’s not a yes—Buck’s not even sure he wants to hear a yes. But it’s so much better than the rejection Eddie threw at him before.
“Alright,” Buck exhales, nodding like it’s nothing, even though it feels massive. Then he surges forward, catching Eddie’s mouth in his again. The soft, desperate sound Eddie lets out—like relief and need tangled together—hits Buck like a punch to the chest.
or; Eddie’s shame torments him. Buck would rather have a piece of Eddie than nothing at all. Miscommunication is their biggest enemy. Infidelity turns into their savior… or ends up being the thing that destroys them?

Summary
“Listen Buckley, I need you to know that this whole…” The officer gestured to his' clothes. “Gothics United Against Following Curfew club you're a part of can end up real bad, you can die kid. Or worse, go to jail.”
Buck doesn't think he looks much like a goth, aside from wearing black, and he only does it because it's easier to sneak around like that, there's nothing about him… Scratch that. Officer Gallagher just found him lurking around the cemetery at two in the morning. Because he talks to ghosts.
Always have and probably always will.
It fucking sucks.
It sucks. so. bad.
And now he has one. A ghost. In his room. A very handsome one at that, an old cowboy with a cowboy hat, tight pants, boots and big brown eyes.
Buck is so, so, very fucked

Summary
“Okay then, we stop,” Buck said. Eddie started to open his mouth, frustration already back on his face but Buck shook his head. “For now. Not permanently. But I kind of agree with Christopher on this one. It’s not just a matter of right place, but also right time. I agree- I agree with you about how we are living. Even if we had gotten the loan, we would still be as tight money-wise, and we would still be miserable.”
“At least we’d be miserable in our dream home,” Eddie said, the fight leaving him.
“Our dream home is not an over-expensive house in Pasadena,” Buck replied with a tired smile.
“No, I guess it’s not,” Eddie said, leaning to drop a soft kiss on Buck's lips. “So we stop?”
“We pause. For now.”Or, Buck and Eddie face financial adversity. They do some banking too, and they love each other through it all. How romantic.

Summary
After returning from Afghanistan Buck and Eddie move to LA to put down roots and in the process build the family they deserve, not the ones they were born with.
-
“What are you doing here?” Buck asked, “I thought you were going to station six?”
Eddie had that shit eating grin he got whenever he was being a cheeky bastard, “Last minute change of plans.” He gave a faux nonchalant shrug.
Suddenly Buck’s face fell into a suspicious glare, “You’re not fucking with me, are you? Rocking up to tease me with those abs of yours and then fucking off to your actual station?”
Eddie’s smile turned fond, enough confirmation that this was for real, “No, I’m here for good.”
“Good, I’ll introduce you then.” Eddie followed Buck as he led him back to the small group, “Everyone this is Eddie Diaz, Eddie this is Hen, Bobby and Chimney.”
“I didn’t realise you two knew each other.” Bobby said, analysing the two of them.
Eddie and Buck began to laugh in unison, “Know each other?” Buck said, speaking through the laugh.
“We share a mortgage.” Eddie finished for him.

Summary
He stopped in front of her, like he didn't know what to say. Fiona just stared at him. Lip stirred beside her.
"You got a baby," he said.
"Two," she replied, chin jerking toward Lip.
He blinked. Then, slowly, he dropped his bag and unzipped it. He pulled out a sandwich, squished, half-eaten, wrapped in a crumpled napkin, and held it out to her.
"You can have the rest," he said. "It's peanut butter. No jelly."
Fiona hesitated. Her stomach twisted with hunger, but she'd been taught not to trust strangers, even if they were small and sad-looking like her. Still... a sandwich was a sandwich.
She reached out and took it.
"Thanks."
He sat down next to her on the curb without asking. Just dropped his backpack by his feet and let out a sigh like someone twice his age.
"I'm Evan," he said, picking at the edge of his sneaker sole.
"Fiona."

Summary
The contact of a glance, the burn of a touch, and... a dangerous game that pushes them a little closer to each other.
After being abandoned by his girlfriend who ran off to Europe, Buck tries to piece himself back together. His broken heart no longer knows who to trust.
When he saves the life of a child and his grandmother, he has no idea that this heroic act will change his own life. Because the child’s father, Eddie Diaz, isn’t like other men. Rich, charismatic, unpredictable… just one look from him is enough to shake all of Buck’s certainty.
Buck has never been the type to submit. But in Eddie’s arms, another side of him wakes up—a side he didn’t even know existed.
Until he discovers that the man who unsettles him, challenges him, and makes him come like no one else… is also the one who runs one of Los Angeles’s most powerful companies.
And that their story might be more than just a game.I'm not very good to English, so please forgive any mistakes I didn't spot (there may be a lot.)

Summary
It’s not a whisper, not exactly. It’s just… matter-of-fact. Like saying it out loud isn’t the hard part. Like waiting for a reaction is.
The words drop between them, sudden and small, but precise.
Eddie blinks, caught mid-step.
“What?”
Buck searches his face. Something subtle shifts behind his eyes. “Wait… you didn’t know?”
There’s no accusation in it. Just confusion. Like it never occurred to him that Eddie wouldn’t know.
Eddie stares, his brain a beat behind his body. “No, I—I didn’t.”OR
Buck is trans and out. So out, that most people don't think about it anymore. So when Eddie joins the 118, no one mentions it. The question is, how long will it be, until Eddie finds out?

Summary
When infamous rockstar Evan “Buck” Buckley gets injured (again), his label hires Army vet-turned-EMT Eddie Diaz to shadow him on tour. Eddie’s job is simple: keep Buck breathing. But nothing about Buck is simple—not his smile, not his secrets, and definitely not the way he starts to feel like home.
Eddie’s supposed to keep Buck safe. Buck’s supposed to stay out of trouble. But somewhere between motel parking lots, midnight emergency calls, and songs that sound too much like confessions, lines blur—and hearts get caught in the wreckage.
This tour might save Buck’s career. It might ruin Eddie’s life. Or maybe, if they’re lucky, it could be the start of something louder than either of them expected.
