Summary
Mu Qing woke up groggy with his body tucked into someone's chest. He didn’t hate it though because it felt more comforting and warm than he’d ever been in his life. That was until he questioned who could have the audacity to do this and finally looked to the face of the person holding him. It was Feng Xin and the memories of what happened yesterday came rushing back.
Him confessing everything he's kept inside for 800 years to a statue of Feng Xin in a Nan Yang temple he found after a long grueling mission, Feng Xin apparently hearing everything he said, Feng Xin not hating him but actually loving him back, and them kissing till they fell asleep in each other's arms.

Summary
As the heavenly capital was being rebuilt, a new temple to General Xuan Zhen rose in the Southwest. As usual, Mu Qing heard about it immediately and descended to make sure it was up to his exacting standards.
When he entered the new temple and found an exquisitely carved statue of himself holding hands with General Nan Yang, Mu Qing laughed until he cried, then burnt the temple to the ground.

Feng Xin is visibly agitated, walking blindly such that he occasionally bumps a knee or an ankle into the table or a chair. Yet, he does not yell a curse but merely mutters it under his breath.

Summary
Objectively, turning down the invitation to her close friend's wedding was probably the best choice for everyone involved.
There were too many things that made her sick to her stomach: knowing she could be spending time studying for med school, going back to the place she spent three weeks every summer at and knowing any nostalgia is replaced with bitterness, seeing the literal devil drooling over Xie Lian and doing anything her friend says, a crowd of people who were constantly dragging her into shenanigans, watching different couples suck face, being flirted with by the fucking flower boy, being forced into luxury dressing rooms, the overwhelming sense of guilt she feels at what has happened in the past and having to face it, forcing herself to not cry upon seeing her friend in a wedding dress (it was a beautiful dress in her defense!), and seeing the way Feng Xin had changed in different (and very [un]attractive) ways.
Between whispered conversations underneath tables at restaurants, plans being made between beach chairs, hitting their former professor in the head with a ball when scheming on the golf course, and late nights laying on the sand staring up at the sky, the wedding was doomed.
