Summary
Spencer takes Hotch’s hand in his own and brings it across the space between them to rest over his knees, cradled in both of his hands like something precious. Hotch doesn’t object, silently watching Spencer’s movements with a wary tilt of his head.
“Do you always change parts of yourself to manage other’s perceptions?” The question trips past Spencer's lips before he can think better of it.
Hotch tenses, his hand clenching and unclenching in Spencer’s hold like he wants to pull away from the conversation, from Spencer. His hand stays in place.
“Doesn’t everyone?” He asks quietly, and something about his tone makes Spencer look up for the first time since he started this bizarre interrogation.
Spencer almost doesn’t want to break it to him.
“No,” he says, looking back to the hand in his lap and lacing their fingers together for a selfish moment, a breath, “not everyone.”
AKA A night out with the team quickly devolves, and Spencer’s still dizzy trying to put it back together.

Summary
Spencer shows up to Emily’s funeral sluggish from a high. He grips flowers in his hands with too much force, and when tears stream down his cheeks, they bear his shame and his grief rolled into one.
At least it doesn’t hurt.
He was going to celebrate four years clean just a few weeks from now. He has no idea who he was going to celebrate it with, but he would have celebrated. April 12th would have been spent joyously, full of grief as he’s fully unable to forget Hankel, but celebrated because he had something under his belt.
Spencer relapses after four years clean, finds comfort in a bracelet, and makes peace with Emily.

Bobby had long accepted that he messed up a long time ago, because of a mistake he made his first family had been broken beyond repair, his wife, son and youngest daughter died and his eldest had disappear from his life years before that, he had accepted that he had lost his first family. But then his eldest is walking into the 118, giving the fire chief attitude, hope blooms in his chest, now he's just got to get his wife to stop looking into his daughter's background, it might help if there wasn't something off about it.
Aaron Hotchner was not happy about the undercover mission his wife was taking on, in theory, she should actually be the safest of them, but that didn't stop him from worrying. And on top of that, she is being forced to face demons of her past without him, she tells him that everything will be fine, that she worked out her issues about her father in therapy. It still doesn't stop him of worrying.
Josie Hotchner just wants to catch a serial killer, go home to her husband, have dinner with her dad and have both her families get along, she really is hoping she isn't asking for to much. It doesn't help that both the 118 and the BAU are magnets for trouble, but she wouldn't have them any other way.
