Summary
A brief return visit to the Tadfield of the Squire’s Wife series, in part 4 of which Mother Shipton, an aptly named stray, made the husbands godfathers, more or less. One night about six months after the events of that fic, she has a mission to complete. Or, to repeat Neil Gaiman’s celebrated remark, cats do whatever the fuck they want to.
Unrepentant, lightweight feelgood fluff.
