The JL is still hunting them for going rogue, and with Bruce confined to a civilian life he has a lot of free time on his hands. Meanwhile the Batgirls, Duke, and Jason are still struggling to bring Gotham back under control after Batman’s fall from grace. At the same time Dick is struggling to protect Damian from all of the turmoil around them.

Rob glares over at her, "no." He looks back at his laptop, typing once again. "Consent matters and you do not have mine."

The squad stands perfectly still—each with a paper bag over their head, eye holes jaggedly cut out. Someone forgot to remove the grocery store logo. Kon is shaking from suppressed laughter. Bart, completely unfazed, dramatically throws out, “Sacrebleu!” because why not add international intrigue to their already catastrophic crime spree?
So what if YJ98 (Young Justice Comics 1998-2003) got thrown into the Young Justice (2010) show universe? And in no particular order, they commit identity theft (poorly), blackmail Batman (successfully), and steal another spaceship (listen, at this point, it’s tradition). Also, they "borrowed" the Batmobile for "science," traumatized an old person (accidentally… probably), and somehow, somewhere, a new multiversal law was passed specifically to keep them from ever doing this again. And yes, there's more. So much more. (Official Rewrite!)

Cassie Sandsmark is a scrapper who collects and repurposes tech that the rebellion she works for, the Justice League of America, has no use for. One day, on an otherwise unremarkable operation to steal a device only known as “The Secret” from a DEO facility, she discovers that the mind of a girl has been uploaded to a digital shell—and her only memories of her life are the seconds before her murder. Cassie is determined to find out the Secret’s true identity and that of her murderer, but without the resources to do so, she isn’t sure how she’ll swing it. Cissie King-Jones is a rookie enforcer reluctantly following in her mother’s footsteps. The first case she’s assigned to seems unsolvable. A cold case from five years ago and a string of recent murders that match the MO of the killer from said cold case. On top of everything, she keeps running into a masked vigilante who calls herself Empress and is trying to hunt down the murderer as well. They’ll all have to pool their knowledge if they want to find out the identity of this mysterious serial killer.
