Between being a parent, his dead sister coming back from the moon, and trying to foster a relationship with his nephews, hiding his romantic feelings for Fenton is just too much. There's no way he can keep his feelings a secret, not with Fenton taking him on dates. Della and his nephews meddling isn't helping either.

Summary
Gizmoduck knows that Darkwing Duck is getting more and more frustrated by a lack of leads regarding the whereabouts of Negaduck, and interference from Chief of Police Grizzlikoff is not helping. So Gizmoduck decides to invent a lead. A small one. Just enough of one to give Darkwing something to focus on and pursue. Sure, nothing will come of it, but it will give Darkwing something to focus his attention on while waiting for a real lead to turn up and make the terror that flaps in the night a little less grumpy. What could possibly go wrong?
A lot, actually. Because, apparently, ducks can indeed catch the Canine Cold...
Meanwhile, Duck Avenger is making his official debut... and it's not off to a great start. A purse snatcher is at large in Duckburg and he keeps eluding Duck Avenger, who keeps encountering stumbling blocks on his first week on the job. Suddenly becoming the only hero available to the city was not what Duck Avenger had in mind for his first week on the job, but he's determined to make the most of it and prove to everyone--including himself--that he is indeed meant to be a hero.

Summary
There was a reason why there was not an earth colony on the moon. Della could have been the patient zero of this hypothetical, but nobody had wanted that for her and now nobody seemed to want her at all. After the initial crash she had been in pure adrenaline survival mode to propel herself to live long enough to find herself to survey the crash site and flag down some help. Then to rebuild the rocket of Selene to go home herself. Survival wasn't guaranteed but Della would try and persuade the odds for ten whole years.

About two months after defeating F.O.W.L. everyone is enjoying a surprising streak of calm days. While most members are out of the city, Della and Huey visit the lab, much to Gyro's dismay. The scientist has been avoiding Della for a year now and is not ready to face the complicated emotions surrounding the spear of Selene.
But then Mark Beaks comes out with his newest creation-a robot based not only on the previously stolen Bulb Tech (which everyone knows will go evil at some point) but also on stolen plans for Della's leg.

It shouldn’t be physically possible to be that happy all of the dang time.
Gyro had looked into it, seen if there was some sort of strange magic or something that made it possible for Fenton to be this happy in life, to know that there was hardship out there, and to still be as bubbly as he was.
But there wasn’t.
