“Stupid. Fucking. Piece. Of. Shit!” Jisung punctuated every word with a kick of the van’s front tire, his already foul mood darkening with each yell of frustration. He never should have listened to Chan. He should have just stayed in Korea and moped about his lack of inspiration in his luxury apartment. He never should have agreed to this stupid ass ‘back to the basics’ tour around middle America, just him and his guitar and some sparsely attended open mic nights. He never should have done this alone, but Chan was too busy back in Korea running a successful music company and Changbin said he’d rather strangle himself with a mic cord than spend a month in a van with Jisung. Seungmin had bailed at the last second when he realized it would mean being away from the dancer he’d been hooking up with on the low, and Jeongin had just straight up laughed in his face.
That was how Jisung had found himself alone, in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, with a broken down van and no cell phone service.

“Are you Seungmin from Tinder?” The stranger asks yet again, and Minho barely has any time to process the words before more questions start raining.
“Seungmin, who has no pictures with his face visible but swears he’s real? Who is wearing a light blue denim jacket, and will wait for me right in front of this bar? Who doesn’t have much battery left on his phone so he counts on me to find him? Something I’ve been failing to do for about half an hour now?”
Minho’s mouth falls agape, and he’s pretty sure the confusion on his face does a good job at answering all of these questions.
Or the one in which Jisung confuses Minho for his Tinder date and Minho decides to go along with it.
(He should have thought this through).
