Summary
Six months into his stint with Athenril, Hawke was indispensable. By the time his contract was up, half her gang left with him. He quickly set himself up as one of the biggest crime lords in Kirkwall. Even the Coterie knows his name.
In a world where Hawke didn’t go to the Deep Roads, and his wealth comes from less reputable sources, can he still be the hero Kirkwall needs? Or did he lose one too many morals along the way?

Summary
Most random women shoved into thedas think idly about how lucky they are they can find some work outside of brothels, at least in the books. It’s a distant, insignificant thing they never really thought was an option. Not worth the labor required, not worth the suffering possible.
Fisara is not lucky, she is not idle, and she cannot rule out any of her options. The Blooming Rose gets a new prostitute who doesn’t quite act like an elf should.
(an exploration of class, sex work, philosophy, and a little murder. as a treat.)

Summary
It is Dragon 9:37, and war has begun. For two years the mage Viscountess of Kirkwall, Caitlyn Hawke, fought violence and obstruction as she expanded mage rights. But at last she and her husband Anders assassinated Meredith Stannard and declared the Kirkwall Circle independent, inspiring more Circle rebellions. Now the chantries of the northern Free Marches have declared a schism due to Divine Justinia’s support of Hawke, with former Grand Cleric Elthina as its “Divine.” Justinia cannot help, as the Templars and Seekers who aren’t joining the schism only care about keeping the other Circles in line. Caitlyn, Anders, the rebels, and their allies must fight the war alone.
Challenges arise at home too. With an ambitious anti-war Coterie boss undermining Caitlyn from one side, mage supremacists from the other, and Grand Cleric Petrice urging Caitlyn to deal with foes ruthlessly, she is tempted more than ever to be a despot. Anders wants to help her keep to the light... but by 9:39, he has his own struggle, a dark voice that will not let him or Justice alone.
(Canon-divergent Mage-Templar War that’s still mostly compatible with Asunder. Reading Parts 1 and 2 of the Spells series is advised.)
